It was overt and covert.
It was acceptable to pay black players extremely lower than white players.

That doesn’t exist now, and wouldn’t fly today.

Racism still exists. That’s for sure, but to say it’s more racist now than it was back
then is an insult to those black players who were denied the opportunity to have
financial and on field success.

There are more NFL black coaches. There are more NFL black QBs,
and black players are some of the highest paid players in the NFL

To compare eras of racism is not an intelligent take it does all black
people involved an injustice.....
