He is the store brand cola.
2747889, better store brand:. Big K or Kirkland?
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 05:19 PM
?
2747872, wonder where he transfers to
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 03:32 PM
you don't get any more QB-friendly than Riley and OU, but he'll have to play somewhere else now
2747875, Arizona State? Daniels is probably going pro after this season
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 03:37 PM
If he wants to stay in the Big 12 I could see him going to Oklahoma State or TCU.
2747877, Miami? either way he should be finished at OU
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 03:44 PM
2747878, canes make sense, depending on who's the HC after Manny gets fired

2747863, that ole miss arkansas ending just now was great
Posted by dillinjah, Sat Oct-09-21 02:47 PM
2747864, Yeah it was. I was kind of surprised Arkansas went for 2
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 02:52 PM
I would have taken it to OT and try to win it there.
2747868, only makes sense to me if you're the far inferior team
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-09-21 03:04 PM
which ark wasn't
2747869, Exactly, only do it if you’re a big underdog on the road
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 03:22 PM
Arkansas was as talented and good as Ole Miss so take it to OT and try to win it there.
2747885, idk
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 04:55 PM
its kinda like "obscene" in that you know it when you see it

that being said, i dont think that was it
2747865, going back and forth between OU/UT and ole miss/ark has been insane
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-09-21 02:56 PM
noon games don't usually go off like this
2747917, whole day was a banger
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 11:46 PM

Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 03:23 PM
2747871, wow, I had that on game and Texas was up handedly and I dozed off and...
Posted by ThaTruth, Sat Oct-09-21 03:28 PM
woke up and it was tied and OU was driving in for the winning score lol
2747873, Vols rollin
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 03:34 PM
beating up on the third-tier of the SEC is a welcome surprise

Heupel has scored more points in the last eight SEC quarters than Pruitt could manage in a year

receivers get all sorts of looks in this offense, which is good for recruiting -- Tennessee needs to get back to the Wide Receiver U days

2747876, I know it is early but Heupel is looking good
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 03:39 PM
I didn’t think Heupel was a good hire but he is making a believer out of me.
2747874, also, the Pac-12 let Xavier Worthy get out of Fresno?
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 03:36 PM
kid is going to terrorize the Big 12
2747882, he was a Michigan commit for 9 months
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 04:48 PM
then in January, the admissions department wouldnt let him enroll early

in april he bounced

massive facepalm
2747980, Brutal

2747879, Weekly reminder that Bo Nix isn’t good
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 03:53 PM
They are still trying to make Bo Nix a thing at Auburn.
2747880, every week i am baffled
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 04:07 PM
are they just not allowed to bench him (and then encourage him to transfer)?

i'd take my chances w/ a freshamn. we've known Nix is garbage for years
2747884, he's a legacy
Posted by ThaTruth, Sat Oct-09-21 04:51 PM
2747896, I know he is a legacy but that doesn’t me they have to keep starting him
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 06:37 PM
2747883, Kennedy Brooks with incredible patience
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 04:50 PM
dude makes a pros and cons list for every crease in the OL before crossing the line of scrimmage
2747921, I thought Eric Gray would go off, but I see why Brooks plays
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 11:57 PM
over him

really fun time to watch true running backs in CFB right now
2747886, im only 1 qtr in on DVR, but PSU-Iowa...
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 04:58 PM
does not look like a matchup of 2 of the best 4 teams in America.

OU-UT felt important, but this is a massive comedown :( lol
2747887, UNC is every bit as disappointing as i expected they would be
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 05:11 PM
i thought top 10 was ambitious given what we lost but i didnt expect us to be staring down 3-3 rn. getting our ass beat by FSU at home. the new crop has not stepped up into their roles this offseason. wtf did the coaches do this summer.

and they also dont look like they have much room for improvement either. we are boned for next season since Howell will be gone.
2747888, the Coastal is such a shitshow
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 05:18 PM
without Frank Beamer and Paul Johnson, its just been completely worthless

we made Pitt look good but would anyone be surprised if they lost 3 league games?
2747890, Both teams have legitimately good defenses. QB play leaves a lot
Posted by Mignight Maruder, Sat Oct-09-21 05:41 PM
to be desired though. Sean Clifford has the tools to be really good, but can’t seem to put it together. He still has accuracy issues and forces bad, unnecessary throws like he did on that first drive. Now he’s injured and the backup looks a bit rattled. 3 false starts on his first drive. Yikes. It will definitely be interesting to see if PSU can hang on.

But to your main point, I think everyone knows there’s a pretty vast separation between Alabama/Georgia and everyone else. Iowa beat a high ranked ISU team and has a really easy schedule post PSU til the conference championship. PSU still has to go through Iowa, OSU, Michigan and the conference championship to stay in the top 4. I don’t feel real confident they will run the table, but if they do, they’ll get a chance to get their asses beat by Bama or Georgia. I mean, Oklahoma is ranked #6 and their defense is horrendous.
2747893, damn they actually found some black people in the Iowa crowd, must be...
Posted by ThaTruth, Sat Oct-09-21 06:35 PM
dude's family lol...

but yeah, these don't look like 2 of the top 5 teams in the nation, there is a lot of parity in CFB this year, the playoffs will be interesting
2747894, iowa defense is nearly 2011 LSU level fun
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-09-21 06:36 PM
2747897, It is good but playing against PSUs back up QB certainly helped
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 06:39 PM
Game completely changed once the PSU starting QB got knocked out.
2747931, no doubt
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Oct-10-21 09:46 AM
will be interesting to see if Iowa can hold it down against an elite offense. osu/iowa would be fun in the big 10 champ game.

in the mean time what they're doing thus far turnover wise has been pretty insane.
2747892, psu at osu is going to be a monster matchup
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-09-21 06:34 PM
stroud and the offense look like they've taken a major leap but it will be their first test vs a legit defense and with a lot on the line.
2747902, not if Clifford sits
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 07:03 PM
PSU offense fell off a cliff
2747903, would think he'd be ready to go by then
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-09-21 07:18 PM
2747898, I’m happy BYU lost today
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 06:40 PM
2747900, ^^
Posted by dillinjah, Sat Oct-09-21 06:56 PM
2747907, fuck that school
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 08:23 PM
2747899, Iowa fans rushing the field seems kind of dumb
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 06:44 PM
Iowa is the higher ranked team.
2747930, man i dont think they're checking the polls before jumping in lol
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Oct-10-21 09:00 AM
was a huge win vs a top 5 team and a dramatic comeback...let them do their thing.
2747972, Pretty sure they been waiting years for a top 5 win
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Oct-11-21 07:16 AM
and gotdamn the PSU backup QB was awful.

Is it really that hard to throw to wide open WR’s?

2747901, Safe to say that Franklin was not at all prepared for a backup QB
Posted by Mignight Maruder, Sat Oct-09-21 06:56 PM
to play. SMH. Not sure what the final stats were, but there had to have been at least 6 or 7 false starts on the offense with the backup QB. I can understand a few, but that was atrocious. Looked like a high school team out there. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Franklin chose to run a hurry up offense early to midway through the 4th quarter when the offense was barely able to get a snap off, the QB wasn’t confident enough to throw beyond 5 yards, you have the lead, and a defense that had been playing lights out all game. Frustrating outcome bc that would’ve been a pretty easy win with Clifford - and he was even having a bad game.

OSU or whoever comes out of the Big10 East *should* handle Iowa by double digits in the championship game. No shade to Iowa since they took care of business, but they’re just not that great.
2747904, PSU was by far the better team with their QB
Posted by allStah, Sat Oct-09-21 07:55 PM
Their backup is shit. For Iowa, It’s one of those wins you don’t want to have.

2747905, A&M is killing Bama OLine rn
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 08:10 PM
2747906, Jimbo Fisher is running Paul Johnson stuff and killing them
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Oct-09-21 08:15 PM
2747908, Bill OBrien calling a terrible offensive game
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 09:13 PM
Bama cant block for shit and theyre running all these long route plays. no short dumps attacking where the blitzes are coming from.
2747910, goal to go from the 3. 3 straight passes. this dude is selling
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 10:15 PM
2747911, Ed O might be Ed Gone at LSU
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 10:23 PM
2747924, Post jack , on Shannon Sharpe podcast w Warren Sapp….
Posted by guru0509, Sun Oct-10-21 06:32 AM
Warren Sapp claims that the Rock aka Dwayne Johnson stole all of Ed Oregon’s catch phrases / mannerisms for his WWF character (all that candy ass Rudy poo jabroni etc etc ) bc Ed Orgeron was the defensive line coach for the Hurricanes at the time and that’s exactly how he yelled at players in practice

The more I thought about it the more it made complete sense lol
2747927, I can totally see that
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Oct-10-21 08:16 AM
Ed O must’ve been off the fucking hook back in the U days
2747912, Jameson Williams is making a lot of money
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 10:24 PM
2747913, Down goes Bama! Down goes Bama!
Posted by calij81, Sat Oct-09-21 10:47 PM
2747914, bama mediocre play this year finally caught up to them
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Oct-09-21 10:49 PM
saban need to fire Bill O Brien and roll back to the Tua playbook. BOB has no idea of when to pass and when to run. no touch for the game.

great cfb day altogether
2747915, good game from a&m.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Oct-09-21 10:52 PM
they played better. bama kept making mistakes. at least 5 dropped passes.
2747919, Calzada barely looked P5 against Colorado
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 11:50 PM
shocked at how he played. that beautiful tying touchdown pass while getting Bernard Pollard'ed, then hitting the injury tent for his Toradol shot and going back out there to lead A&M to the game-winning drive

and that kick was hooking left as shit! came back like a backdoor two-seam fastball
2747920, I really dislike letting those standing piles move forward/backwards
Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-09-21 11:53 PM
injuries waiting to happen and the ball-stripping seems unfair

strange how targeting is such a focus, but getting your fibula rolled up and snapped for no reason while the officials swallow the whistle is not

Nebraska did Nebraska things at the end there, of course they lost that way

2747926, So will Bama still get in if they lose to UGA?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Oct-10-21 08:14 AM
Also I feel like that was one of the best Saturdays we’ve seen in a minute.
2747933, Too early to say. Hopefully not
Posted by dillinjah, Sun Oct-10-21 11:55 AM
2747929, 40 losses by ranked teams in the first 6 weeks most ever -ESPN
Posted by ThaTruth, Sun Oct-10-21 08:36 AM
2747935, should've been 41 :-(
Posted by Nodima, Sun Oct-10-21 12:11 PM
Felt nice to believe Nebraska might win a big game all week up to the final minute for the first time in years, I guess
