If Lakers don't win a chip next season they won't get one before the rockets do
2744423, I agree to a degree

won't be right away but they are gonna be back.

Green, KPJ, Wood, Sengun... those are some dudes that will be lighting it up.

Defense might be a problem, but there will soon be some entertaining basketball.

John Wall needs to thank his lucky stars
2744939, Green about to be cerified. Sengun is going to be the cherry on top

2744940, The squad is fucked as long as Fertita owns

The culture is rancid and unfortunately despite some of the talent they have— everything is gonna run its course and guys will leave when their rookie contracts expire and worse
2744946, how can you say that already?

2744987, the talent drain that occurred since fertitta became owner
Posted by bearfield, Tue Aug-10-21 10:38 PM
harden
morey
d'antoni
bzdelik
rosas

that first year with fertitta it seemed like everyone was on the same page but then he started cutting costs and tried to buy a chip for the low even though he had the most unstoppable scorer of the past decade(s?) in his prime. all he had to do was go into the luxury tax for some real shooters and defenders and he wouldn't do it. if he's not interested in fostering a winning culture with morey, harden, and d'antoni — all legends with inimitable pedigrees — he damn sure doesn't care about rookies and 2nd-years, players, coaches, and GMs included. all he's thinking about is recouping and paying back the loan he took to buy the team. that's not conducive to creating an enviroment for talent to thrive in
