Quite a few actually.

If you convened a panel on great films and you chose a prestigious film critic and a director and an actor, I wouldn't necessarily value one's input over the other.

Same thing with books and a famous writer and a famous literary critic

Or if a politician and a political theorist were both discussing good governance

Etc


I guess one area that wouldn't apply to is the nuts and bolts of the job. Like, I trust that a career politician knows more than a political theorist about how you pass a bill in Congress.
