2738429, I’m saying I dunno why Truth brought Conley into this

I have never once on these boards said Mike was better or HOF worthy. I have been a vocal critic of Westbrook as seen.

I just said he would have been an all star years ago if Memphis was in the East

You think Kyle Lowry make the all star team if he was in the west Lol?

>First, let me say I have no clue why you mentioned Conley in
>a reply to me. I’ve never so much as uttered his name in
>these discussions. I LOVE Mike Conley. Have said that
>countless times, through the years.

Fair enough. But truth used Nike Conley as some sort of way to bolster Russ accomplishments or lack thereof.

>>Fact is Russ has played with way more talent and has nothing
>>to show for it except for beating Oscar Robertson’s record

>Agreed. Nothing to debate there. How many players do we know
>like this, though? Winning a chip is fucking hard. Also, I
>hardly think breaking a record, once thought unbreakable,
>should be a pejorative.

The thing is I think Westbrook Can easily win a chip if he wasn’t so hell bent on filing the stat sheet to keep his numbers up . I guess it comes down to me thinking he’s an egregious stat padded and no one else seeing that . Fine .

>>> KD was an MVP and a 4 time scoring champ, with Russ.
>>
>>and choked away a 3-1 lead with Russ.
>Game 6 of the WCF. KD shit the bed. I’ve watched it more
>times than is healthy.
>
>>He got better with Steph and Klay because the offense
>>doesn’t get stale when they have the ball. KD knew that
>his
>>game couldn’t evolve alongside Russ. The whole world knew
>>it except.
>100%. GS had a better offensive system. One that revolved
>around having two of the greatest shooters the league has
>seen…and he eventually found that not fun, anymore.
>

>>Harden is much better . Have you seen how he transformed his
>>game upon arriving in Brooklyn?
>Harden is not any better in Brooklyn, than he was when he left
>Houston. He plays a different role. He can’t dribble til
>there’s two seconds left on the clock and kick it out to PJ
>Tucker waiting in the corner, if he doesn’t shoot. I hear
>these announcers acting like he just learned to pass, last
>month and it’s crazy. James has ALWAYS been a very willing
>passer and damned good at it. Kyrie literally told him,
>he’s the PG, so that what he’s doing. The fuckin dude is
>incredible at basketball and he has been for some time.

This is where I have to eat crow and maybe make an apology post to him. I thought he was a supremely gifted one dimensional player a la Gilbert arenas bc I hardly ever watched rockets games . Especially once I got beaten over the head w watching Dantonis “system” over and over . I never knew he was this multi talented and selfless, he’s been the engine to this Nets team .

>
>Do you think Russ is capable
>>of changing his style that drastically to one that is more
>>conducive to team wins ? He did that in Houston. It was
>discussed by fans and analysts, alike.

I didn’t see it .

>>Mac says he’s a bum. You say he’s elite . You two can
>>figure it out .
> Nothing to figure out and please show me where I said he was
>elite.

Edit my bad thought you were talking about WESTBROOK and not PG

I think PG was elite before the leg injury and very good after

Dude you and ThaTruth think Westbrook is better than ALLEN IVERSON. I guess thats what grind my gears . that means you think he’s elite . Just stop . Allen Iverson dragged Eric snow and them to the finals and never played with anyone nearly as good as what Russ had in his career . Enough is enough.

You said he got better after he left Russ and that’s
>patently false. 2018 in OKC, he was 3rd in MVP voting and had
>his best season of his career. That’s not even arguable.
>He hasn’t been nearly as good with the Clipper…next to
>Kawhi and a team built to take over LA. He shit the bed in
>the bubble and is about to get put out in the first round by
>Luka and Tim Hardaway’s son.

I think the problem with the clippers is Kahwi (in the locker room and off court ) but that’s a different discussion. Put PG on a team with a clear and vocal leader and I bet he thrives .
