2735674, Imagine fighting Mike Tyson....

now, imagine fighting Mike Tyson, AFTER he's already broken your jaw.

2735675, "he punches like a fucking mule kick!!!"

2735677, Imagine being The Lox, all together, and Mike tells Eve
Posted by Cold Truth, Fri Apr-16-21 04:05 PM
That he's going to fuck the shit out of her

Imagine you also have a couple friends with you.

Imagine Mike is all by himself, and seriously outnumbered.

Then imagine you, your two fellow Lox members, and your three friends still having to hold a literal huddle to try to gameplan how to deal with him.

This is the best story to come out of Drink Champs IMO

Though, Ja Rule had a crazy ass tour bus story

2735707, "Ruddock's resilience would never be the same"

He once said his body was never the same after going 19 rounds with Mike Tyson.
Just makes me think of something Andre Ward said... that there are no "moral victories" in boxing. The fans love you for "being a warrior" and taking unnecessary punishment. It's entertaining. But it does nothing for you in the long run, neither for your career nor your health. Respect to him to fighting on with a broken jaw, but respect doesn't win a title or bring you back from the state that the great Gerald McClellan is in.
2735708, Yep, 100% that’s why I’ll never complain about an early stop

And think it’s kinda disgusting when announcers whine for way too long when there is an possible early stoppage

2735709, I get concerned when I hear Mike speaking these days
Posted by guru0509, Sat Apr-17-21 11:42 AM
This is a dude who used to speak so sharply and curtly with intent behind every single word he used...now he slurs his words and talks so slow and trails off at times....is that him being stupid high on weed and shrooms? or is he that punch drunk?

its alarming, to me anyway. thats why i was dead set against that bullshit with RJJ

most retired fighters sound slowed but Mike doesn't sound too bad here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD17KCvWo-U

the Bobby Brown-Buster Douglas story is hilarious
2735790, I think it's the drugs for Mike
Posted by Boogie Stimuli, Mon Apr-19-21 08:50 AM
He was still very sharp post-career. On his show, he's usually smoking before or even during the show. You can tell he's just in another galaxy sometimes. Show could easily be called Smoke Champs.
2735798, that tracks
