A bunch of artists refused to perform in NC and the NBA and NCAA moved events out of the state as well. The state eventually didn’t go through with the law because it was going to cost them billions in tax revenue. It worked, regardless of how righteous those people or organizations actually were. After the bill was cancelled the NBA and NCAA went back. The MLB will do the same if this law doesn’t go through.

Agreed, but that example doesn’t fit this. If MLB was secretly fighting against voters’ rights while posturing with this move, you’d have a point.

The move doesn’t have to be virtuous in order for it to be effective. I refuse to praise any organization that takes a stand just cause they did a “cost-benefit analysis” of how many fans they would lose either way, but I do recognize the effectiveness of these boycotts.
