Dalton is openly and regularly bad. He’s a poor man’s Kirk Cousins. This will be on display again in Chicago. He should be decent enough to keep Robinson statistically good but I would not expect anything good in important games, if he plays well enough to get the Bears into important games.
I worry that Russ could have a few lean years on the way where he’s hurt more often, but he’s been really good for a while. He does the work and his deep ball is still top shelf. But I can get not wanting to give up half a team to get him.
