a clusterfuck of a season to start with, Cincy is actually pretty solid, ND fresh off a decisive loss to justify their exclusion, and the fact that whether it was cincy or ND the outcome of the game would be exactly the same.
and then the committee could cite the cincy/bama beatdown for the rest of eternity as to why they don't want a G5 team in the playoffs ever again.
