Bucs at Panthers should be fun. Tua vs. Herbert. Bills/Cardinals.
2725308, Jones stayed on his feet on that run! 7-0 Giants

Impressive opening drive.

The only Jones who ain’t running big is Aaron Jones. Ridiculous. They do this shit 2-3 times a season.

he really is. I keep saying...man, I really like this dude...he’s smart and entertaining. Had no idea who it was, though.
2725328, Yea man, he’s up there just talking football and having fun.

2725329, Bad weather in the Midwest.
Posted by allStah, Sun Nov-15-20 04:28 PM
Totally affected the Packers/jags game as well as the browns/Texans game.

Wind 60 mph here in Chicago, and lots of rain.
2725338, Miami’s defense wins again.
Posted by allStah, Sun Nov-15-20 07:23 PM
They could possibly have the best defense in the league.

Tua dinking and dunking to 169 yards....He is just game managing at this point.

Still feel bad for Fitz. He will probably never get a chance like this again....this team could possibly get to the Chip with that defense.
2725339, HAIL KYLE!!!

Bad cornerbacking ...They tried to catch it. All corners are taught to bat the ball down.

Very stupid defending . But great catch by Hopkins.

This is the 2nd time this season that Murray & Hopkins saved Petterson's ass.

There wasn’t any. Defender has the right to the ball as well

He said over the back like it’s the NBA, and dude was going up for a rebound. LoL

Laker fans are bubble heads.

2725344, Kliffs clock management is so bad
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Nov-15-20 07:41 PM
why are so many NFL coaches awful at clock management?

Cardinals needed this win. looking more like Rams/Cardinals for the West

2725353, Why???
Posted by Beezo, Sun Nov-15-20 09:38 PM
2725354, Lamar Jackson still can’t make a simple back shoulder throw.
Posted by allStah, Sun Nov-15-20 09:45 PM
He can only throw it straight up the middle.

11 seconds left, and all you needed was a few extra yards for a safe FG , and he chucks it down the sideline right to the defender.

That motherfucker can’t throw. Mark Andrews numbers have plummeted. The draft is going to be deep with QBs, Ravens better rethink their future.

Jakobi Myers just threw a corner throw to the end zone for a TD.

2725359, Baltimore Ravens choke on lake trout once again in a big game
Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-15-20 11:17 PM
Same old Ravens.

I feel like Lamar is on a Vick type career trajectory with Baltimore.
2725360, Our O line some shit and hurt, D line some shit and hurt.
Posted by Beezo, Sun Nov-15-20 11:27 PM
Center can’t snap.
Receivers can’t get open.
Roman predictable.
Lamar trying but pressing.
Shit is bad.

Salt, pepper, hot sauce on that trout.
2725371, Lamar is 24-5, I think he’s doing well given the target on his back.
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Nov-16-20 07:55 AM
2725382, I read, after last night's game...
Posted by Dstl1, Mon Nov-16-20 10:28 AM
he's 1-6, as a starter when trailing at the half. Is that a function of playcalling...or his skillset and what plays can work for him? Not really asking you, directly, just wondering.
2725386, It’s his inability to throw. Cut off the running and force him to throw,
Posted by allStah, Mon Nov-16-20 10:53 AM
and it stops everything the ravens want to do.

The crazy thing is he is a pocket passer, and he doesn’t want to run. However, he can’t throw. He seriously can’t throw, which is why his scrambles usually turn into full runs, because he can’t make those Mahomes or Rodgers on the run throws.

Back shoulder throws - nope. This has become one of the most important throws in the nfl, because it has nothing to with a man being open. It’s thrown away from the defender ,slightly under thrown to the back shoulder of the receiver...who turns around instantly with late hands to catch the ball.

Corner Endzone throws - trash

In small windows - trash

Go look at that pro bowl QB skills challenge video. He couldn’t hit shit, while Wilson and Cousins was accurate as hell on moving targets. Even the WRs threw better than Lamar. It was abysmal.

https://youtu.be/EhxDfz2QaRo

Send him to Andy Reid. He needs some serious QB coaching.
2725431, Did you just give the definition of a back shoulder throw?
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Nov-16-20 04:30 PM
I’m not sure if he can or cant because I don’t think he’s being asked to do it and his WR’s aren’t really looking like the cream of the crop.

What they need to do is spend some money/draft stock on some WR instead of all these damn TE’s.

Is Bryant still on the practice squad or was that just a rumor?
2725434, Dez was moved up from the practice squad, last week...
Posted by Dstl1, Mon Nov-16-20 04:52 PM
but man...he's had a lot of injuries, a lot of punishment on his body. He was slowing down, when he left Dallas...and that was before the achilles rupture. I don't know what he has left. He's cool as fuck on Twitter, doe. Dude watches all the sports, lol...and tweets and bullshits with regular folk during games.
2725389, We’re not built to come back.
Posted by Beezo, Mon Nov-16-20 11:06 AM
Trash offensive line especially with Stanley hurt, and a center that can’t snap the fucking ball.
No receivers to make plays. We went and dragged Dez off of the couch, that tells you all you need to know.
2725428, He needs some legit weapons at WR. I can’t think of any on that team
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Nov-16-20 04:24 PM
I know they have one burner but they need some serious help at WR.

Look at Pittsburgh. We have Ben and a bunch of talent at WR and when they go crazy or want too much money we just restock.

One thing I seem to notice about QB’s like Cam, McNabb and LJ. They never get these dudes some serious weapons at WR. They always get some random dudes and hope they can just make it work based on misdirection
2725385, This isn’t a criticism on Lamar, it’s on Harbaugh, the coaching staff and
Posted by calij81, Mon Nov-16-20 10:49 AM
their ability to draft or develop a consistent WR for him.

When I say his career is destined to end up like Vick I am saying Lamar, like Vick is stuck with poor coaches.
2725505, Okay.. but Lamar is 23 and in his second full season.
Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Nov-17-20 02:06 PM
I don’t like the way people talk about him like it’s his 10th league in the year.

I know you are talking more about coaching but yeah..

I’m a Steeler fan and I still don’t like the way people talk about LJ.

“He’s been figured out” - pundits

He’s lost to KC twice, Steelers, Pats and Browns. That’s it. Gotdamn, let this dude cook for a bit. Shit is wild to hear. 3 losses this year and people act like it’s over for dude.

2725388, i felt the same way about Vince once upon a time
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Mon Nov-16-20 10:55 AM
the record was good despite the obvious glaring flaws. really hope Baltimore invests at WR/TE cause everytime i see them Andrews is dropping passes. and Lamar throwing to a bunch of midgets at WR. get him a big 6'4" safety net
2725361, How crazy this football season is, I’ve hated the Patriots and Brady...
Posted by ThaTruth, Sun Nov-15-20 11:44 PM
their entire existence now that they separated I find myself rooting for both
2725362, Same here but I’ve rooted more for the Pats than Brady so far
Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-15-20 11:49 PM
I only root for the Pats because of Cam and when the Pats are playing against Adam Gase.
2725364, RE: Same here but I’ve rooted more for the Pats than Brady so far

Same here, I’ve been a Cam fan since the Auburn days, I like the coaching staff in Tampa
2725366, Yeah I like the TB staff as well, especially Leftwich
Posted by calij81, Mon Nov-16-20 12:03 AM
You know, I do really like Lynn and want him to succeed but I wouldn’t mind seeing him replaced by Bienemy or Leftwich. I think LAC would be a good spot for both those guys.
2725363, Bad news Anthony Lynn might and need to be fired. Good news
Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-15-20 11:51 PM
Brian Flores is killing it in Miami. Flores has that defense playing on vintage Patriots cheat mode right now.
2725367, Yeah it’s weird it’s seems like the Chargers just find ways to lose...
Posted by ThaTruth, Mon Nov-16-20 12:10 AM
they’ve had some tough injuries but at some point the head coach has to be held responsible but Adam Gase hasn’t had a winning record since 2016
2725368, I like Lynn a lot and want him to succeed. Gase is terrible
Posted by calij81, Mon Nov-16-20 12:15 AM
Lynn is much better than Gase. Gase shouldn’t even be a position coach in the NFL after he is fired by the Jets.

The thing is Gase is just terrible and his teams never look prepared. Lynn is a good coach and his teams always come on prepared to play but he keeps finding ways to lose leads and close games.

I want Lynn back but if they don’t win a few more games he might be gone.
2725373, Gase should've never been hired in NY after being fired by Miami

2725376, Harbaugh is the problem. Ravens gonna finish 9-7
Posted by Castro, Mon Nov-16-20 09:48 AM
fire Greg Roman, add some other new assistants, and Harbaugh gonna continue to be steer them towards mediocrity. And they'll blame Lamar.
2725380, His ass was on his way outta here before Lamar saved him.
Posted by Beezo, Mon Nov-16-20 10:20 AM
Roman has to go.
And why the hell are we rotating 4 running backs??
4
2725390, McCaffrey out for an extended period...
Posted by Dstl1, Mon Nov-16-20 11:36 AM
damn, dude missed like 6 weeks, came back and they used him as a battering ram, now he might miss most of the rest of the season.
2725396, talented but really should be used like a 3rd down back he's not...
Posted by ThaTruth, Mon Nov-16-20 12:24 PM
built for that #1 role
2725398, yeah...and I didn't want it to come off as hating, AT ALL....
Posted by Dstl1, Mon Nov-16-20 12:38 PM
he kinda reminds me of Reggie Bush, in that way. Both are physical specimens and clearly talented...their bodies just don't like football.
2725407, its not hating, dudes that are barely 200lbs are not every down backs...
Posted by ThaTruth, Mon Nov-16-20 01:32 PM
in today's NFL
2725433, Every week a good 50 players get injured.
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Nov-16-20 04:38 PM
it’s football.

Always seems like once a RB finally has an injury people pop up with all types of reasons why they could have avoided it or reduced their chances.

But that’s not how it works.

Players get injured and you can’t protect them from it by limiting their touches or snaps.

It’s a violent sport. Let that dude go out playing the game the way he plays it and leave it up to chance. Anything else is foolish IMO.
2725397, If there is any team that needs to tank it’s the Bears.
Posted by allStah, Mon Nov-16-20 12:24 PM
http://www.tankathon.com/nfl

Jets will take a QB, and Washington will take a QB. So that crosses out Trevor and Fields. But Washington might take Wilson instead over Fields.

So Fields could still be there up to the 10th pick. If we start sucking now, we would go 5-11, and be in the top ten draft order.

2725417, Kirk Cousins is 0-9 in MNF games
Posted by Mack, Mon Nov-16-20 02:49 PM
so that's another win for the Bears for you to work into your calculations.
2725420, Yeah, I know
Posted by allStah, Mon Nov-16-20 03:10 PM
This is horrible. ...When You know your team has nothing and has no business winning right now.
2725429, Fields ain’t the move bruh.. he’s just like those other Buckeye QB’s
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Nov-16-20 04:26 PM
built for the college game but woefully prepared for the NFL.

2725419, Jameis running the Saints. Kwon on the Saints too. Surreal.
Posted by dillinjah, Mon Nov-16-20 03:01 PM
I'm going to be honest here: I might lose it if the Bucs are fortunate enough to get a 3rd crack against the Saints in the playoffs, but lose in the Superdome against Jameis.

If that rematch somehow happens, I will be at the game, no matter the $$$ and COVID.

2725437, LOL!..
Posted by CyrenYoung, Mon Nov-16-20 06:33 PM
..I knew the Bucs would end up facing him, but didn't anticipate it would be this soon.

Its no secret that I wasn't a big fan of Tampa drafting him, but understood why they did. I've been rooting for him to mature as a player (and a young man), but it just never seemed to happen during his tenure.

I want him to succeed somewhere, but not against my beloved Bucs lol.

2725436, Before the 80s
Posted by allStah, Mon Nov-16-20 06:26 PM
Mafioso had their hands all over a lot of sports (same with politics), having boxing matches rigged, point shaving in basketball, etc. And there were tons of athletes who had gambling debts( yeah Pete Rose and Jordan)....As glorious as sports were back then , there were also dark times.

I bring that up because of what Nick Chubb did, and with fantasy sports and sports gambling being a huge billion dollar industry, someone is going to get seriously hurt one day.

Cleveland was up by 3 points, 10-7, with 1 minute to go. Chubb was on his way to a break away TD, no defender is near him. Now the spread was -3.5, meaning that Cleveland wins the spread if they score 4 or more points. That would have given Cleveland bettors the win. Chubb intentionally steps out of the bounds at the one yard line after running hard down the sidelines, and doesn’t score the TD. That action gave Houston bettors the win.

Now the problem with what Chubb did is that the score would have put the Browns up 17-7. With a minute to go, it would have been almost impossible for Houston to come back. So not scoring and taken the knee didn’t really make sense from a math point, similar to what Gurley was trying to do.

Regular fans are not going to understand this. But if you have people laying millions of dollars on a team and for it to be concluded in a suspicious way, where it looks rigged, someone is going to get seriously hurt one day.

Soccer players have been killed and families kidnapped for allowing goals and losing games, and those situations were simply based on emotional fans..... But from a betting stand point with millions on the line?

I have never seen this in my life. That shit could drive someone crazy:

https://youtu.be/PGWBxKhw1qI

2725506, Bruh.. when I saw that shit live and heard the commentary
Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Nov-17-20 02:10 PM
acting like he was some fucking genius for running out of bounds and stopping the clock.

The fuck kind of game is this where going up 17-7 with a minute left is a bad idea? I hope he loses money on incentives for TD’s.

2725507, lol
Posted by allStah, Tue Nov-17-20 02:11 PM
2725522, I was thinking about Doug Flutie
Posted by allStah, Tue Nov-17-20 05:59 PM
And how that dude was way ahead of his time. That’s who I see when I watch Kyler Murray.

https://youtu.be/Q5JvbREEApU
2725719, That’s disrespectful to Murray
Posted by legsdiamond, Thu Nov-19-20 09:35 AM
Flutie had the throw in BC and was scrappy but he was nowhere as talented as Murray.
2725723, You’re nuts.
Posted by allStah, Thu Nov-19-20 10:12 AM
All he did was throw a Hail Mary at BC?

- Inducted into the college football hall of fame
- won Hesiman trophy
- inducted into the CFL hall of fame

Flutie is considered the greatest CFL player of all time. He was just ahead of his time where the nfl wanted tall qbs, but he still left a memorable mark on the NFL. He was paid a lot of money to play in the USFL, so he skipped the NFL at the time. The USFL folded, and then he went to the NFL. However, that was short lived because NFL players went on strike, and after that season he bolted to the CFL .....went back to the NFL later.

- when he left the CFL and came to the NFL he won Comeback Player of the Year
- made the NFL pro bowl, and is currently the shortest QB to ever make the pro bowl
- several NFL player of the week awards for his 4th quarter comeback heroics.

Those basketball ball jump passes, he was doing way before Mahomes and Murray.....Im just saying Flutie had similar abilities and was way ahead of his time, and wasn’t given the same opportunity or system because it was a different era. But he proved the naysayers wrong who said a player his size couldn’t have success in the NFL as a QB....He was the first. In this era, Flute would be on his way to the hall of fame.

He proved the entire NFL wrong.

2725725, I know the history of the USFL
Posted by legsdiamond, Thu Nov-19-20 10:19 AM
and I don’t care about his play in the CFL

He was aiight but he can’t touch Murray’s athleticism.

2725726, RE: I know the history of the USFL
Posted by allStah, Thu Nov-19-20 10:37 AM
This wasn’t a comparison as far as who is better.

It was about who did it first , and at 5’7, flutie proved the nfl wrong that short
QBs can succeed, and with a similar trajectory from heisman to the pros. Flutie paved the way.

So that is who comes to mind when I see Murray.
2725730, Also keep in mind
Posted by allStah, Thu Nov-19-20 11:01 AM
All the stuff he did in the NFL was after being out of the NFL for a decade.
2725739, I was there.. I’m an old head
Posted by legsdiamond, Thu Nov-19-20 11:58 AM
and height is the only thing that comes to mind but athletically.. Murray is head and shoulders above Flutie.

IMO of course
