There is no other team that is in a greater spot for the present and the future than the Thunder. They can re-sign Gallinari, keep Paul, and they still wouldn’t be in the luxury tax. And Alexander, Dort, and Bazely will be even better. Plus they have like 12 first round draft picks that will cover the next 6 drafts. They can rebuild and be competitive at the same time. And Paul will be off the books in 2022, and Shai would be ready to lead by then.
