I assume a lot of these people (besides MAGA shit heads) know it's a risk but just convince themselves it's not going to happen to them?

Or extremely selfishly decide they're willing to get it in order to attend something important, ignoring the infection spread that happens from them as well as the burden it puts on hospital workers?

Like the wedding in Maine that was a Covid spreading event that killed 7 people, none of whom actually attended the wedding.
