He deserves jokes and getting cooked. No one deserves death threats over a missed jumpshot. There was a time where this wasn’t a rebel yell or a hot take. Or at least no one would argue for the death threats. Maybe there’s always been idiots around us but they didn’t have a means to announce themselves to so many of us at once? Loser mfers.

As for me, I cussed like crazy when I saw Green go into the game for the possession. From watching the bubble, I have developed a disdain for dude. Stats be damned, he’s currently a catch and shoot shooter who can’t seem to shoot. And I was sick of looking at him miss wide open shots badly. So when it was clear that he was gonna get the Paxon 93 shot gifted to him, I stood up to see the result. The pass wasn’t perfect but still! Would he finally make one? Would this be how the Heat get laid to rest after a ridiculous effort to survive? I guess the fuck not! The rest of the foolishness didn’t even matter to me after that miss. Well, Green spotting up and wanting another shot right after that pissed me off even worse.

Then my wife got the gift of me telestrating how open Danny Green was. He wasn’t nba open. He wasn’t LA Fitness pickup game with typical lazy layman defense open. He was shooting in the driveway by yourself with no wind or major distractions open. Yeah yeah, Iggy but c’mon. I was besides myself cuz I hate seeing a guy miss his moment like that. Hopefully he bounces back and gets a chance to make a few buckets at least.
