My point is that those top EPL teams aren’t going anywhere and are going to be the major forces behind these new super leagues. In la liga, all there is is Madrid and Barcelona. Serie A is weak, Ligue 1 is weak, etc. So MU, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City, and Arsenal carry more power collectively than any other league. And the owners of MU and Liverpool are really pushing that vision harder than the other clubs.

Focking Billy Beane, the man responsible for bringing Sabermetrics ( not the creator of it) into baseball and was the VP of baseball operations for the Oakland A’s ,sold his company to John Henry( owner of Liverpool) . He will now work for John Henry as a special soccer stat and business analyst with a focus on European Soccer.....a freaking baseball guy with no history or experience in soccer!

They have an EPL proposal deal on the table now , basically telling small market teams to sign or go bankrupt. Right now, so many small market teams are bleeding money due to the pandemic, and the deal would give them financial relief and save their clubs. But they would have to give up all power and veto rights to the top six teams, and the top six teams would get more of the revenue from TV deals, ticket sales, etc.....also, they went to add playoffs, cap relegation, and eliminate the league cup.

The entire proposal was drawn up by Liverpool owners.

Yanks are coming hard.
