but this speaks to the true problem which is the talent disparity between the top teams and the rest of cfb who really have no chance at competing in 2020 and beyond. it's a concerning issue and also why expanding to 8 teams makes absolutely no sense this year**

so osu gets in because anyone with two eyeballs can see they're one of the top 4, but in the process we have to convince ourselves that Indiana and NW (and florida and georgia) are really really good teams in order to justify our common sense decision. it's disingenuous.
