Per the Washington Post and people who have personal knowledge of the situation, the Houston Rockets are being hosed and no way this would happen to a superstar player. The NBAPA has not been giving any further communication regarding it, and feel their hands are tied.

Tyson Chandler has been cleared to play, but not House. And the Houston Rockets or House have yet to be presented with any evidence or information regarding house violating bubble protocols.

So they have this guy locked in his room, and have not provided any evidence supporting the allegations against him, nor has there been any further information provided. He is just confined to his room because the NBA told him to stay there until further notice. And again, Tyson has been cleared, but they are still investigating House??

And since day 1 he has stated that he is 100 percent innocent. So from a legal stand point, and since all of the NBA is isolated away from society in a bubble, is this action even legal? If the NBAPA is seeking answers and due process, and NBA officials just say safety, safety, safety, with no evidence, then what the hell is this?

“ People with knowledge of the situation, who were granted anonymity to speak candidly about the ongoing investigation, said that the Rockets were “blindsided” by the NBA’s decision and that there had been little direct communication between the league office and team officials and Houston had received no formal presentation of evidence. Instead, communication continues between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association.

The NBA is treating as guilty until proven innocent for safety reasons,” said one person with knowledge of the situation. “They're prioritizing their perception of safety over everything else. The NBPA feels its hands are tied. Any time talks about due process or presumption of guilt, immediately says, ‘Safety, safety, safety.’ There has to be some limit or balance.

“If it was a star player, there’s no way would handle it this way,” said a person close to House with direct knowledge of the investigation. “They want to make an example out of somebody.”
