I’ll admit, I usually find things about college b-ball coaches(especially successful ones at strong programs) that rub me the wrong way, and I usually “dislike” most of them. Not Lute.
Lute always seemed like a likable guy, a class act, a great coach whose teams always played good and entertaining ball, and had one of the most consistently strong college b-ball programs for two decades. Heck of a run.
