2718619, Well, that sucks. I'm sure he'll get another HC gig very soon tho

He'd likely do great in Brooklyn.
2718777, if he doesnt get a gig and a good one, that's a travesty
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Fri Aug-28-20 11:35 AM
he's exceeded expectations everywhere he has coached.
2718698, Erik Spoelstra talks about it...

2718776, Probably the most undeserved firing in basketball history
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Fri Aug-28-20 11:33 AM
If not coaching history in general.

Now my guess is that they wouldn't have made this move if they didn't already have a coach in mind--they lose money here and certainly couldn't have had the reasonable expectation of doing better under these circumstances. That person, however, appears to be Mike D'Antoni. I have been a big fan of both Nate and Pringles, but how the fuck does D'Antoni's system fit this team?

if that is indeed the plan they're probably going to try to move Vic
2718803, UGH...and we got Thibs. Nate would have been great for NY.

2718804, not a big enough "name" for NY, only way somebody like Nate would...
Posted by ThaTruth, Fri Aug-28-20 03:22 PM
get that job would be as an assistant and slide in as an "interim" after the head coach got fired/quit like Woodson did the first time
