Continuation from the other NBA post ,which hit 300 posts.

Clippers /blazers scored 140 in the first half , on pace for 280.

It’s crazy how both teams have so many players that can hit threes.

Scoring has slowed down in the second half...doc playing more bench players.

Over might not hit..crazy dudes were on pace for 280...now they will barely score 230!

And Shamet missed a freethrow.

Better. They win when he is not on the court. He can’t shoot or score.

1 game - Fouled out - philly won
2 game - Left the game due to injury - philly won
Last game - Didn’t play - philly won.

More spacing. Shake is defensively terrible, but he can score and so can Burks.

When they go small they can score in bunches

Shake-Burks-Richardson-Harris- Hortford

I think: Burks - Richardson -Harris -Hortford- Embid is the their best lineup.

You can run a spread floor offense because everyone can shoot, and still have some defense on the floor.

Philly could be a sneaky problem now.

Top 3 most efficient players in the league TODAY. I watched this dude, and inside or out, just pure command of everything.

KD
Middleton
Warren

Lebron couldn’t do shit against this dude on defense. Also, Cook gotta get some tick. His three point shooting is needed. Lakers still don’t look good.

2717316, Got damn that Luka Pass!
Posted by allStah, Sat Aug-08-20 10:44 PM
All the games today were amazing. Even though the Mavs won in OT, Bucks are ready.

Lopez is now giving them 20 points a game, so they have a mini big 4 in giannis, Middleton, Bledsoe and Lopez. Just need to clean up that three point defense. But I love what I see from them . 2 straight games where they went on a 20 point run on a team.

Lakers are in trouble. They have not looked good, no rhythm, no rotation . Most of the big teams are playing hard to have a rhythm and rotation going into the PO.

Utah and Denver have rounded into form.
Clippers and Portland are there.
Suns are undefeated.

Insane basketball being played

He has yet to run any specific plays for Derozan or Rudy, players who can get a mid range shot at any time. So many players are just taking long range shots, leading to the Pels to getting rebounds and going on a fastbreak

Do what you do best.

They were up by 17 at one point. Pels are a terrible team, finish them.

If I see Murrary take another weak ass shot, I tell you. Get Rudy down on that post like earlier. Pel are soft ass shit on defense.

Last two possessions, derozan scores of the block and rudy takes his man one on one for the dunk.

those should be the main scoring options to close out the game.

Philly without Simmons is a no brainer.

Unfortunately , they lost Embid. However, Burks can shoot, and Richardson gets more touches.

I told you guys, when they go small with Hortford at the 5, Harris at the 4, thybull at the 3 ,Richardson at the 2 and Burks at the 1 , they get three point shooting, speed, defense , and they aren’t that bad rebounding .

Teams can’t play Zone and are forced to play man to man. With Simmons on the floor . Teams pack in the box , and there is no spacing.

Bring shake. Robinson, and Korkmaz off the bench.

They took the L...but this team can really be good if the coach does the right thing.

Philly put up 122 points! Get Simmons out of there.

4 dumb turnovers and too loose with the ball. Raptors got players that can flat out ball.

They are good at everything, ballhandling, shooting, passing, defense. No specialists . Just all around players.

Bucks ball handling is going to get them killed. Lots of 3 and D specialists...but passing and ball handling sucks. That shit bothers me.

If you’re wack at shooting or playing defense..I get it. But ball handling and passing? Ain’t no excuse for that shit. That shit would drive me nuts as a coach. That’s all fundamentals.
2717385, this Denver/lakers game looks like they are going to ball.

I know, fam. I know. It’s heartbreaking. But the back issue scared them. They didn’t want another Scottie Pippen issue on their hands, being on pins and needles on if his back would go out. So I understand.

Funny thing, just like Scottie dude had back surgery in his rookie year. ..fock around and have the same stellar career.
2717390, Carter damn near averaged a double double as a 21 year old.

I also think Porter Jr. would be dope if we knew he'd be healthy. But his entire family's bodies fall apart on the floor. It fucking sucks but is what it is.
2717392, Are you smoking crack?

If you are, then cool.

Dude porter jr was the best high school senior on the planet, Mr basketball everything. Unfortunately, he didn’t play that much in college, but didn’t need to. His skill set is generationally.

Wendell will be a serviceable big man at best. It’s just obvious. Porter Jr is walking buckets inside and out, and has crazy rebounding and court vision ability. And has one of the purest shots in the league.

Just like with Pippen, the only question mark is his back....and if Pippen is his ceiling as far as all around ability goes, dude come on!

Pippen lasted and so can Porter Jr. so far Denver got a Fucking steal and if it doesn’t work out , oh well, they still got mad talent.

And , btw, before the pandemic he was coming on strong.
2717405, Your last point is wrong.

>Dude porter jr was the best high school senior on the planet,
>Mr basketball everything. Unfortunately, he didn’t play that
>much in college, but didn’t need to. His skill set is
>generationally.

I know. Except for the bad grammar, yes, I agree.

>Wendell will be a serviceable big man at best. It’s just
>obvious.

Near double double at 21 from a defensive big man is not something a team should take for granted. Especially a team whose best player is a 4 who can't defend. They're a perfectly matched pair.

Porter Jr is walking buckets inside and out, and has
>crazy rebounding and court vision ability. And has one of the
>purest shots in the league.

Yes, when he's on the court.

>Just like with Pippen, the only question mark is his
>back....and if Pippen is his ceiling as far as all around
>ability goes, dude come on!

Michael Porter Jr. will not be Scottie Pippen, because the Porter family has tendons and cartilage made of spent-a-week-on-the-counter mozzarella. It's fucked up. But it's true. And one can't really ignore that. (It's also grossly underselling Pippen or grossly overselling Porter. I can't tell which is happening here. But yes, Porter is very, very talented.)

>Pippen lasted and so can Porter Jr. so far Denver got a
>Fucking steal and if it doesn’t work out , oh well, they
>still got mad talent.

It was a great price at that position. No one is arguing the alternative. The mad talent Denver has is precisely why Denver was able to draft him and Chicago wasn't-- because even if he never played another game, Denver is fine either way. The majority of the top 13 teams in that draft were *not* in a position where they could whiff on a guy with his injury history. So Denver took him and, for a few games now, it's paid off nicely. If he stays healthy, it'll pay off further still. I hope he does stay healthy.

>And , btw, before the pandemic he was coming on strong.

No, that's wrong.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/portemi01/gamelog/2020

He had a hot couple of weeks in January... then he got hurt. Again. Missed more time and wasn't really in the rotation when the pandemic hit. Because the ankle sprain he said post-game was fine ended up lingering for longer than expected. Which, again, is par for the course for the Porter family. Jontay tore his ACL twice in two years. Bri had to retire after five (!!) ACL tears before college. Cierra medically retired from basketball for a spell too because her knee can't get right. They just can't get right.

I'm rooting for him to succeed. No one wants to see an injury-prone guy keep getting hurt. But he wasn't the right pick for the Bulls there, because the Bulls did not have the talent to afford a miss. Which is why several more teams passed on Porter too. It's revisionist history to suggest otherwise.

If I can set my 2K settings to no injuries, then of course, Porter Jr would've contended for the top pick. But that's just not how the world works. And Bulls fans shouldn't poo-poo the 21-year-old they have when MPJ is the human embodiment of every war movie land mine sequence.

Anyhow. I'm done with this convo, you can have the last word. I just wanted to correct the factually wrong thing for anyone else who may read this. Stay safe.
2717423, Again, are you smoking crack?
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-11-20 12:13 AM
Your Duke bias is insufferable.

My last point isn’t wrong. He came on strong in the second half of the season, which was before the pandemic. That’s fact. And then he had the injury.

Also, during that stretch where he came on strong, he shot 52 percent from the field, and was named Denver Nugget of the month. That month also included two 20 point games, and he had ,what, 10 or 12 games of double digit scoring.

And , on the season , he is shooting 50 pct from the field and 42 pct from three.

So this isn’t some bubble routine from this kid. He is massively talented, and will be a superstar player if his back can hold up. Tonight, he shot 100 pct against the Lakers defense, and Lebron was guarding him.

And there is no need to talk about Wendell Fucking Carter, but since he is a Dukie, you would make some silly argument for him over Michael Porter Jr.

Wendell is a janitor center and nothing more. So take your duke bullshit somewhere else.

"stretch 4" his usefulness will be limited
2717469, On offense, I totally agree.
Posted by Frank Longo, Tue Aug-11-20 03:10 PM
His three point shooting has been bad-- but it was honestly good at Duke, so that's a strange situation. Especially since his FT% has improved since arriving in the NBA. I think it's at least partially out of necessity-- Lauri is a stretch 4, so they're not going to play Wendell outside very much at the same time-- but that said, you'd think he'd get a couple more opportunities after picks or something.

He can be a good defensive big for a long time even if the offense never gets beyond 10-12 PPG, though. He's definitely quicker/more athletic than someone like Jah, and his instincts/timing on that end are really strong.
2717475, how is he on rim protection?
Posted by ThaTruth, Tue Aug-11-20 03:28 PM
2717476, Great positioning. Strong body, good feet. Shot blocking needs work.
Posted by Frank Longo, Tue Aug-11-20 03:41 PM
I actually thought his shot blocking was strong at Duke and showed nice promise as a rookie, but he took a step back some last year. Admittedly didn't watch enough games the Bulls played to determine whether that's a scheme thing or not-- but his defensive on/off numbers are the best on the team outside of any player named Kris Dunn. The thing he always had at Duke was knowing where to be, how to use his feet, and how to use his body. Even if he never becomes an elite shot blocker, I'd definitely trust him as a general paint protector, if not necessarily an above-the-rim type of protector. If that makes sense.

Sexton had the big one I saw, but Carter's also done things like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50Ky-dImJBk

He's always gonna challenge in the paint, which I think is a good thing. So yeah, he may get dunked on a few times, no doubt. Shit, AD's been dunked on-- if you're down there trying, folks are gonna get past now and again. But he'll also make people miss plenty of dunks and layups too. His defensive On/Off numbers are what they are for a reason.
2717485, I haven’t watched dude in 1 NBA game but to me he sounds like PJ Brown...
Posted by ThaTruth, Tue Aug-11-20 05:04 PM
a great positional defender that had a long NBA career even got a ring with Boston in 08 but while he was considered and elite defender for much of the 90’s in the the late 90’s and into the 2000’s when the Vince/Kobe type athletes that would go OVER you started to become more prominent in the league “positional” defenders started to become less valued.

Nowadays it seems like most bigs today are either shot blockers or “stretch” 4/5’s that can knock down the 3
2717511, I don't even disagree, really.
Posted by Frank Longo, Tue Aug-11-20 08:23 PM
But since he showed potential as a shot blocker last season and he showed potential at Duke as both a shot blocker and a stretch big, I think there's plenty there to build upon. Especially considering how well he fits with Lauri.

If he continues to not shoot and continues to not average even one block per game, then yeah, he'll probably become a journeyman, decade-plus long big man role player guy. I just think the potential is there for him to keep building-- especially since he just turned 21.

And going back to the original point, there's a reason he was ahead of MPJ on every single draft board-- because he was a healthy big man of strong defense and good mobility who averaged over 2 blocks a game and over 40% from 3. Not saying he's more talented or he'll be better going forward-- but the choice at the time was clear and the potential is there (especially with the Lauri fit) for him to develop into a terrific defensive anchor/double-double guy.
2717487, Don't waste your time, bro. Talk to Bulls Fans regarding Wendell
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-11-20 05:15 PM
We know what Wendell is, and he will be a good serviceable big man. He is not wack, and nor is he a dumb player. It's just that his ceiling is pretty obvious.

And as Frank talks about Porter being made out of pasta noodles, Carter Jr has missed significant time two years in a row, and both injuries occurred around the same time within the year.

So as he mouths off about Porter being injury prone, Wendell Carter, Jr could possibly be sailing in a similar boat. Can he stay completely healthy in his third year or future years?

Jabari's got 1/10th of an ACL hanging on for dear life like the latch of a fat person's high heel shoe. You can't give him a long term deal for any reason-- even if he looks healthy and starts balling. It's fucked up-- as I said repeatedly up there-- but it is what it is. Once you're consistently injured like that, you're a huge risk.

There's a reason a guy with Top 3 draft pick talent in that class went all the way at 14. That's the point I was making above, and it's an unimpeachable point-- but allstah is gonna allstah.

If me trying to make light of an undeniably shitty situation came across the wrong way, that's my fault. Lord knows I find myself doing that a lot more these days, lol. But the point itself, the thing our resident ranter seems to be trying to spin, is clear and, as I said, fairly unimpeachable.

It's pretty clear from the post that I'm defending Wendell Carter Jr. being drafted ahead of Michael Porter Jr. I did not say in that post that WCJ is a more talented player than MPJ. I said he's a young talent who matches very well with the Bulls's young star in the frontcourt, and the Bulls did not have the talent to make up for whiffing just in case MPJ's obvious injury concerns came to pass. It's pretty obvious from reading that discussion what I'm arguing. Painfully obvious, really.

But just in case you felt like listening to allstah in a moment of pandemic-related weakness, there's the context you need.

You jumped in a bulls conversation talking about we should be thankful of Wendell Carter, and that Porter Jr wasn't worth crying over because of his back injury, etc, etc.

You clearly dissed my man, hard. Yes, you did.

And you downplayed his coming out month, when it was as clear as day that he was ready to take off, which is exactly what he is doing.

It would be funny as hell if Wendell turns out to be injury prone throughout his pro career....because , you know, he has already been significantly injured two straight years in a row.

Michael Porter is getting busy and dropping efficient shots on elite defenders, but you in here talking about Wendell Carter, Jr.

Man, enjoy this wonderful nba bubble season....and stop with all that duke bullshit.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29645758/memo-nba-players-prove-longstanding-relationship-non-family-members-enter-bubble

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - As the NBA prepares for the arrival of team guests into The Bubble for the start of the conference semifinals this month, the league is requiring players provide proof of "longstanding relationships" with non-family members, according to a memo obtained by ESPN.

The NBA and National Basketball Players Association negotiated terms that preclude players from hosting guests who'd be deemed as wholly casual in nature, including "known by the player only through social media or an intermediary," according to the memo.

Those without "an established pre-existing, personal and known relationship" won't be allowed into the Bubble, where each second-round playoff team has been allocated 17 hotel rooms for guests. The earliest guests could clear the quarantine process and join players: August 31, per the memo.

NBA to have seeding games MVP, all-bubble team
As one team general manager told ESPN, the issue of casual acquaintances "could create problems within your team - and maybe someone's else's too," and has been a significant topic of discussion among organizations hopeful to minimize internal drama as the playoffs unfold.

So far, the NBA has been thrilled with how they've been able to maintain a campus that's free of coronavirus infection and largely functional and collegial in nature. The league and union have been united in wanting to find ways to best preserve the elements that have made the environment workable, and still acknowledge the length of the stay for advancing teams makes the inclusion of family an important factor in the mental and emotional well-being of players.

The NBA and NBPA negotiated the broader inclusion of family and friends after the first-round of the playoffs during the league's shutdown, essentially agreeing to replace the population of exiting team traveling parties with as many as four guests per player, plus additional exceptions for children.

There was significant discussion and planning about how some guests could impact the league's environment, and that's reflected in the language of rules that also prohibit those with business relationships, including agents, chefs, trainers and tattoo artists, according to the memo.

Families and guests will be required to quarantine for seven days off-site from the Disney Wide World of Sports in Orlando, or three days in the team's market prior to take a franchise charter flight to Orlando, and then four more days on the Disney campus, the memo said.

Players are allowed one ticket per guest per playoff game, with an additional seat available to a child 32 inches or smaller, per the memo. In trying to control infection in the bubble environment, family members won't be able to move outside the campus zone and utilize Disney's theme parks.

Yes he did. Blazers got back in the game

He had already sat for awhile. He came back, then there was a foul and he went back to the bench after talking to the ref. They were up like 6 or 7 when he went to the bench .

He came back and that lead was gone.

Even Reggie was like is he done for the night? That’s what I was thinking at first because he was gone for too long.

Then Reggie said guess who is back in the game ...and that’s when he got the momentum back and started scoring in the paint.

You need your best player on the floor ...Lillard barely sat for the game.

He sat for the like the last 3 mins of the third, and then sat for like 7-6 mins in the 4th.

Too god damn long.

Agreed.

Berks is clearly the better PG..but they were actually playing better with Embiid on the bench ..they went up by six with that small lineup.
This game was there for them to take.

Embiid is talented as fuck, but I don’t think he is a bright player. No intensity.

Ben Simmons is smart, has intensity, but no offense
Embiid can ball inside out, but lacks intensity and brightness .

All fucked up.

agreed on embiid.

you see how the pelicans manage the minutes of an out of shape zion. so theres still a rhythm to the team and zion can go hard whenever hes on the floor.

embiid just be coming in and out whenever so its hard for the team to stay in the groove when he comes back in.

Terrible matchup for OKC. They are doing what OKC does with to other teams.
Houston is nothing but a team with wings and guards who 3 and d.

Okc can’t match that on the front court end of things, because of slow ass Adams and Danilo. They are bigger, but slower. I mean Adams has to go out and guard the 3 point line against green or tucker....Fucking mismatch all night long.

And now Eric Gordon is healthy....just a bunch of 3 and d guys, and when they are hitting it can be murder.

But okc is tough in the 4 quarter. The best In the league in that quarter ..so they will fight

But the match up sucks... OKC is going to put have to put up a lot of threes to hang ,because the defense might not be enough. Plus no Dort.

It can be lethal when the shots are dropping, so if you’re not a huge three point shooting
team, and don’t have the speed to keep up, you’re going to get murdered. And when they substitute , they just bring in another player who can hit a three.

OKC ain’t used to launching threes like that....that’s where okc can’t matchup.

2717963, come on refs don’t do this to Portland
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-18-20 10:41 PM
-‘That over turn was trash for the charge

- Lillard clearly gor fouled by Howard

- the nurkic foul

Let them play....don’t help the lakers

2717964, 4 Portland players with 5 fouls
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-18-20 10:46 PM
Come on ...let’s make this fair.

Let them ball.
2717965, lillard said duck the refs!
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-18-20 10:48 PM
You ain’t going to give me a foul?

Cool, three from the logo!!
2717966, they gonna fry AD for this 4th quarter

2717967, blazers!!
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-18-20 10:53 PM
Refs tried to steal this from them ..Dame said nope!!!!
2717969, You can’t guard those halfcourt Dame 3s.
Posted by Frank Longo, Tue Aug-18-20 10:55 PM
Incredible.

Also, big time clutch 3 at the end by Gary Trent Jr. Yup.
2717970, Bubble Blazers ain’t bullshittin
Posted by Beezo, Tue Aug-18-20 10:55 PM
2717971, Danny Green sucks
Posted by DJR, Tue Aug-18-20 10:58 PM
All he does is stand in the corner and miss wide open 3s.

Could’ve had Melo for nothing, but instead we overpaid Danny Green and signed Jared Dudley - who would come off the bench on my YMCA noon hour league team.
2717975, RE: Danny Green sucks
Posted by allStah, Tue Aug-18-20 11:03 PM
Why didn’t the lakers bring in jr smith or waiters for three point shooting?

2717977, JR is washed, and Dion isnt shooting it well either
Posted by DJR, Tue Aug-18-20 11:05 PM
Dion would at least get to the bucket and put up double figures through.

Green has to make open shots. That’s his job on offense.
2717991, JR is washed, but he's still like a 38% career 3PT shooter.
Posted by Frank Longo, Wed Aug-19-20 10:38 AM
I don't think there's much harm in a game where your team is 15% from 3 giving him a couple of minutes and a couple of shots, just to see if he's on. Same for Dudley (39% 3PT career) and Cook (41% 3PT career)-- even if they are both usually worse players than your present rotation, if they can come in and knock down a 3 pointer off the bench, give them 4-5 minutes. And if they come in and look lost, it's an insta-bench after 2 minutes, no real harm done. That's gotta be better for you than a cold player who's missing all the shots and putting up like a -20 BPM.
2717992, agreed there- couldn’t have hurt last night
Posted by DJR, Wed Aug-19-20 10:47 AM
You can’t have KCP/Caruso sharing a spot and going a combined 1-15, with Green struggling at the same time.

Would’ve liked to see Bron, Dion, Kuzma, Morris, Davis for at least a stretch.
2717988, Bron already looking him off
Posted by Amritsar, Wed Aug-19-20 10:07 AM
Near the end of the game he opted to give it to Caruso instead of a wide open DG LOL
2717972, I really won't be surprised if the Blazers get the upset here
Posted by Nodima, Tue Aug-18-20 10:59 PM
Their two biggest strengths, guard play and shooting, are the Lakers' two biggest weaknesses, and the Lakers' two biggest strengths - having LeBron and being big - aren't as heavily in their favor as the Blazers' are in theirs.

I'm not saying it WILL happen, but me and my Carmelo stock are over here drinking that Diet Coke with Chuck real calm like. Losing Bradley and Rondo is gonna loom large over this whole series.

2717978, Solid win for Portland in game 1...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Tue Aug-18-20 11:16 PM
..Lakers looked out of sync, but pulled it together in the 4th, only to get gassed down the stretch.

Those 4 missed FTs by Bron & AD were crucial.

Dame gon' Dame.

*skatin' the rings of saturn*

..and miles to go before i sleep...
2717979, Bron needs help.
Posted by Ryan M, Tue Aug-18-20 11:38 PM
Bad shooting al around but the loss is on Vogel. Benched Kuz and AC for KCP and Green who couldn’t do shit offensively.
2717984, What’s your best lineup for the Blazers?
Posted by Beezo, Wed Aug-19-20 08:50 AM
2717985, anyone where AD isnt a soft as hell and plays the 5.
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Wed Aug-19-20 08:56 AM
he gonna have to suck it up or he can gone somewhere w/ that pussy bullshit. mf aint crashing the glass. aint posting up. too content to shoot long 3s and wait for kickouts. get yo ass down low, STAY THERE, battle, and we'll win.
i was surprised to see he had 28/11 because it felt like he wasnt even out there. he made no real impact on either end.

as for lineup i'd go w/ Bron, Kuz, AD (there should never be a time when 2/3 of them arent on the court), KCP, Dion would be my closeout lineup.

3 bucket getters, AD as the ultimate cleanup man, KCP actually played alright defense.
2717986, Yeah, blame AD.
Posted by allStah, Wed Aug-19-20 09:24 AM
He is far from your problem. He had a huge first half, and the lakers dominated the boards, especially on the offensive end. He led all players in offensive rebounds with 6.

To put it in perspective for you, lebron had 17 boards, 15 were defensive. Davis has 11 boards, and 6 were offensive. More than 50 percent of his board were offensive.

Look this ain’t the 90s, every position can shoot and score. 2 dominant players mean shit when there aren’t other players to contribute.

AD can score 40 points as well as Lebron and that still wouldn’t be enough.

You simply don’t have enough weapons. Portland didn’t even play well, but they have so many weapons it didn’t even matter.

And Lebron missed 2 free throws down the stretch. Stop blaming AD every time the lakers lose.
2718015, Not sure it's the BEST lineup...
Posted by Ryan M, Wed Aug-19-20 01:44 PM
But if you closed out with some form of AD, Bron, Kuz, Caruso, and whoever is shooting well. KCP was 0-9 yesterday. Just awful. At least Green had some effect on D, but nobody we've got can guard CJ let alone Dame.

Need to stop fucking around with AD at the 4, IMO.
2717987, Lakers shot 35% from the floor; 15% from 3; 65% from the strike
Posted by Vex_id, Wed Aug-19-20 09:57 AM
I don't know if I've ever seen a team *that* cold from all over the floor. Lakers have been the worst 3 point shooting team in the bubble - and shot 5-32 last night.

That won't get it done against anyone. Despite that - they still had a chance to take that game.

Vogel needs to be willing to play Waiters & JR more when the backcourt is ice cold. Bron becomes first player in history to go for 20-15-15 in a playoff game. Bananas.

AD needs to stop shying away from the inside and get to the hole. Settling for waaay too many long J's and floaters.

2717993, lebron was already making excuses with the 'off the court' drama stuff.

this is only one game.

but once you start saying shit like that...you give your team an out.
2717994, Lakers are usually the ones with the better bigs.
Posted by allStah, Wed Aug-19-20 11:10 AM
Even against the clippers, the lakers bigs are able to do what they want, because the clippers have poor rim protection and interior defense, which is why they have no answer for AD.

That has always been the lakers MO: you may have the better perimeter players and backcourt, but we are going to out big you.

But now, they face a team that not only has the better backcourt and wing players, but also have the better bigs.

Nurkic can bang, and is a better shooter from the outside than AD, so that’s an even match up......But Collins and Whiteside are way more dynamic than Howard and McGee, and Collins didn’t even play. And you throw in that Kentucky kid. That’s 4 dynamic bigs.

And Collins more than likely is playing the next game. That’s 4 dynamic bigs who can eat up 20 fouls... just throwing bodies at you.

2717997, I'm such a huge fan of Nurkic.
Posted by Frank Longo, Wed Aug-19-20 12:03 PM
Just an absolute unit who isn't afraid to play physical. Only turning 26 this week too-- he could play like this for another 8-10 years easy.

Plus "The Bosnian Beast" is a fucking dope ass nickname.
2718000, RE: I'm such a huge fan of Nurkic.

its possible but with his injury history its doubtful
