You can catch a team off guard with it here and there (as we've seen), but it's far from a failsafe tactic. I think most people cringed when they saw the 3-4-3 employed for this match. I get that the 4-3-3 is harder to employ without Kante, but 4 at the back vs Pool's front three makes sense.
