Mike Breen brought it up in both that article and a couple podcasts he's guested on that he's really curious if Jeff Van Gundy could be the first person in NBA history to be ejected from the game as both a coach and a broadcaster when he criticizes a coaching decision in a high intensity playoff game, the coach hears it and begins a confrontation. Or if Doris Burke or Doug Collins makes an observation about poor adjustments or defensive strategy/effort, how will the players react?

The easy answer seems like putting the broadcasters in a booth somewhere, though then they have the awkward experience of describing basically the same thing we're watching on TV and without that exclusive courtside seating are they perfunctory to the whole thing? Should they just broadcast the ambient stadium noise and borrow the crowd audio samples from the NBA 2K series?
