Shit who you telling.
But they are talking about women football coaches. I’m like we have black coaches who still aren’t getting looked at.

2711802, He should be hired off his post game on field interview alone Posted by Ceej, Wed Feb-05-20 12:32 PM

2711961, He deserves an NFL job but I wonder if he would take a CFB HC job Posted by calij81, Thu Feb-06-20 11:10 PM
The Michigan State job just opened and MSU would be smart to at least call him.

2711964, Why? How many NFL guys who hadn’t coached in college... Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Feb-06-20 11:38 PM
previously have went back to college?
After coaching at the pro level most guys don’t want to beg 17y/o’s to come play for them. Bienemy was born in Louisiana and grew up in California. He has no ties to the state of Michigan.

2711972, He has college coaching experience Posted by calij81, Fri Feb-07-20 01:36 AM
He was the RB coach at Colorado from 01-02 and the UCLA RB coach from 03-05.
He went back to Colorado and was their OC from 11-12 and left Colorado to go to KC.
I don’t think the lack of ties to MSU or Michigan in general is vital or would hurt him.

2711973, One year at his alma mater and couple years at UCLA to cut his teeth Posted by ThaTruth, Fri Feb-07-20 01:46 AM

I still say if he was interested in a college HC job it would have to be Colorado or one of the big cal schools throwing a bag at him and that’s stiff probably not enough.

He's been an OC for two years, on a team where the HC is a HOF offensive mind.
I like the guy a lot. If he doesn't get a look next year, then it's a bigger deal.
That said, Matt Nagy got the Bears job out of KC after 2 years, and his final season in KC didn't end nearly as well as this one did.
Reid also gave up play calling midway through that year and Nagy led them to a second-half explosion in offense. Probably would help Bienemy if Reid was publicly not calling the plays.

2712068, Mike Vrabel Posted by will_5198, Mon Feb-10-20 10:03 PM
got the Titans job -- taking over a playoff team -- after *one* year as a NFL coordinator. a year where his defense finished last in the entire NFL.
no coaching ascent is the same. the only sameness is that it's a lot more difficult for black coaches to rise up the ranks.

2712089, Colorado job is opening, does he go to Colorado as its head coach? Posted by calij81, Wed Feb-12-20 01:41 AM

2712091, at this point in his career it doesn't make sense Posted by ThaTruth, Wed Feb-12-20 09:34 AM

2712124, not at all. Posted by will_5198, Wed Feb-12-20 08:37 PM
unless his career goal is to be head coach at his alma mater, he'd be taking a post that the Michigan State head coach just considered a downgrade.
