In America, sports brand identity and presentation rarely takes a back seat regardless of how much revenue it generates, which is why you have yet to see sponsors printed all over American sports jerseys. It’s tacky. You’ll see goofy brands and names on stadiums, but jerseys are still an important form of image representation.n

Foreign sports? They will take money from whomever and wherever. However, maybe that’s the tradeoff to put glory and wins first over profits, which is what American sports teams and owners are more focused on.
