When Bron and his cronies do it, didn't you know?

Dude has an ongoing issue, is protecting his health/future/chances at winning, etc. Being smart/cautious and doing his own thing and taking control of his future.

= Vex takes shots at the load management.

Lebron starts the era of squading up fucking AAU style to basically buy chips and Vex maintains that he's a trail blazer.

The sheer lack of self-awareness with some of these dudes around these parts is fucking disheartening.

What's funny is had Kawhi followed the Lebron model and signed with the Lakers, Vex would be all in here defending the load management. There is absolutely no doubt about this.

What's extra funny is that his load management no doubt eliminates him from MVP consideration, and Kawhi doesn't seem to give a fuck about that. So...why someone who claims to support players taking control of their careers/futures is so salty about it is...really weird.

2706992, Speaking of weird...

Kawhi is amazing.

All anyone is saying is that you can't win MVP missing
a ton of games.

That's no slander. It's just a fact.

2706956, Kawhi hands down.
Posted by allStah, Wed Nov-13-19 08:54 AM

His per is crazy, and he is too efficient. Plus what he is doing on both sides of the ball. He is doing more in less mins

If you compare his production against lebron’s And Giannis, he is giving you similar numbers with less mins. This means other teammates can get mins and the team can score even more points.

Also what Siakam Is doing, Raptors are still rolling hard and they thrashed the lakers.

Luka is outta this world, but the mavs as a team is weak.

Sabonis should be in the talks too. I have yet to see him have a bad night and the pacers are killing.

2706957, He's gotta play 70+ games tho.

Best player on the court is simply the best player on the court.

Best 2 way player - check
Most efficient player - check

Minutes played: 31.5
Per: 28

Lebron: Mins Played: 35.5
Per: 27

Giannis: Mins Played: 33.5
Per: 32.6

Lebron is playing the most minutes, and less efficient compared to Giannis and Kawhi. All the pers are outstanding of course. But you’re getting a bigger bang for your buck through Kawhi.

And all players are taking nights off. Morant, Horford, were just recently rested. This is going to be the way of the NBA. Stars will not play a lot of back to backs to preserve their careers . So you have no argument.

2707032, Bro. It's a fact: you can't miss 1/4 of the season and win MVP.

Posted by allStah, Thu Nov-14-19 11:17 AM
You’re not understanding.

No one cares about the AWARD.

It’s about who is the real MVP of the league and gets his team to the championship, etc

My point is him being load managed does not take away the fact that he is the most valuable player on the court, which is why I posted the numbers.

Per 30 mins he is the most valuable and the most efficient player.

Period.

So No matter what number of games he plays..... when he is in the court with other top players, he is the best, which is why he is the champion.

We're now just about a quarter into the season - and you could make a case for a few guys.

Luka - Harden - Giannis - all making strong cases.

But right today - Lakers are 14-2. That's actually the best team start of LeBron's career - and he's legitimately playing at an MVP level. Lakers don't have the deepest team - Clippers are certainly a deeper, more talented team w/ guys like Montrezl & Lou Will coming off the bench to score 30+ and even take over games late.

Leading the league in assists - playing defense at a very high level - hustling back on both sides of the court with renewed inspiration. Volume scoring when it's needed. Closing games - empowering teammates to play at a high level etc...

Who would've thought this in year 17? Very few.

Posted by allStah, Mon Nov-25-19 02:15 PM
With his destruction of Houston yesterday. My god what a performance. That was all him. 41 point double/double.

Can’t forget Giannis who lost Malcolm to FA, and the second star of the team Kris Middleton has been out for about 2 weeks and will be out for another month. This dude is really doing it solo. Putting in triple doubles like water.

Lebron has improved from last season, great stats, but he has AD who is a mvp caliber player himself putting in work as well, and was the reason they won the last 2 games. Dude had a 4 point play at the end of the Memphis game, and had a monster geme against OKC and has been stroking some serious 3 pointers. AD takes votes away.

harden put up 47 in a win vs LAC on 11.13. definitely not a roasting

on 11.22 he put up 37/12/8 despite getting double teamed every time he had the ball. the two best wing defenders in the league + help on every possession couldn't stop him from doing what he does. lost? yes. roasted? not quite

Ah, and in both games he went to the line 18 times. As the ref didn’t allow clippers to play defense. They never let anyone play defense against him

This 17-2 team has tied the *franchise-best* for hot starts through first 19 games.

That's crazy. Bron is spearheading the most impressive quarterbacking effort of his career - with a brand new team. The chemistry between him & AD is *instant* -- it took several months for Bron to gel w/ Wade/Bosh & Kyrie/Love. AD is eating so many easy shots off that pick and roll.

It's Giannis or Bron right now.

It’s not close.

It’s Giannis all day long.

Giannis scored 114 points in 4 games, where he averaged like 23 mins in each game. Had he played full minutes he would have scored 200 plus points.

Also his per is like 34.1 with less minutes played than lebron, Luka, and harden.
Giannis has the highest per in nba history...higher than wilt and Jordan. That is insane.

He is basically scoring the same points as his peers in way less minutes.

He is possibly the most efficient player in nba history based on Per and minutes. This is why the Bucs are usually up on their opponents big early.

Lebron, Luka and harden are playing higher minutes to produce similar results.

Giannis usage and scoring is more efficient.
Giannis is the best defender
And he is playing for a team with the best record.

He is doing some really historic shit.

Giannis played an entire month with his second best player and still dominated.

AD Is just as important as lebron, and had like what 50 points the other day.

Posted by allStah, Thu Dec-12-19 04:33 PM
I don t understand you. You come in calling people names, etc

You don’t provide stats or a case, just name calling. If you disagree, just disagree and debate with your argument with information. You simply attack the poster instead of attacking the argument.

I didn’t call OE a name. I simply provided a stat to combat his argument.

A stat that is even greater than the stat he provided.

- Giannis is the best defender in The league
- the most efficient player in the league ...all while playing an exerting superior defense.
- the highest PER in nba history
- the best team in the league with the best record
- the best 3 point shooting team in the league

And for the entire month he played without the second best option on his team. He is the leading scorer for his team in the least amount of minutes than all the other mvp candidates who are leading their team in scoring.

If you want to add something meaningful go right ahead, but keep the other childish stuff to yourself.

2708966, so 22-3 > 22-3?
Posted by go mack, Thu Dec-12-19 05:22 PM
- best team with best record

Giannis may be favorite but also since won last year may take against him slightly. I would say him or Lebron at this point in the season and Lebron could get the career votes, who knows.

I’m saying the Bucks are playing way better than lakers, in my opinion.

So they have the best team in my opinion. Giannis is even more of a MVP this year than he was last year with what he is doing right now.

Give?

They will not have to give anything. He is the best player in the league. No one else is superior on both sides of the ball. Giannis is doing Wilt and Jordan level stuff.

Anthony Davis is dropping 40 and 50 point games for the lakers. His name will definitely be in the mvp talk. No one else on the Bucks’ team is dropping 40 and 50 points.

Loses Bledsoe to a fractured leg. Huge loss. Win streak gets snapped.

Goes 48-4-14. PER: 34.25 ...

Played without Middleton for an entire month. Now he has to play without Bledsoe. That might be even tougher. Lose top PG play and a good perimeter defender.

Bad timing since the lakers are up next.

2709142, Also note that the Mavs were just fine sans Luka.
Posted by Orbit_Established, Tue Dec-17-19 09:05 AM

Lebron's real +- stats have him in the lead.
2709144, yeah, there was no luka
Posted by allStah, Tue Dec-17-19 10:15 AM
But the bucks were on an 18 game winning streak, tough to ride, then lose your best PG

They looked out of sync, and the chemistry was off. They did come back to almost win it. But porzingis and curry went kind of ballistic from three.

No one to really provide that backcourt defense like Bledsoe. This is where losing Brogdon through FA might rear it’s ugly head.

It changes the dynamic of the lakers game.
2709146, Lebron is also the best player in the Association

By quite a bit
2709148, RE: Lebron is also the best player in the Association
Posted by allStah, Tue Dec-17-19 01:02 PM
All I can do is LOL.

Giannis loses brogdon permanently ,Middleton for a period, now Bledsoe for a period.
And still dropping basically 50 points with the greatest PER in nba history, all while going on an 18 game winning streak, with the bucks being one of the best teams in the NBA....but lebron is MVP by quite a bit, even though he has AD taking over games as well?

Clearly what Giannis is doing is way greater ..no?

Lebron is just hands down MVP?
2709151, Lebron's real +- is the highest, by far.
Posted by Orbit_Established, Tue Dec-17-19 02:10 PM

That's a way, way, way, way better measure of
influence than PER
2709152, Giannis is beating him at that, too.
Posted by allStah, Tue Dec-17-19 02:39 PM

+293 to + 258

Giannis is ranked number 1

https://www.foxsports.com/nba/stats?season=2019&category=MISC&group=1&sort=12&time=0&pos=0&team=0&qual=1&sortOrder=0&opp=0&page=1

And PER is the best stat at showcasing a players true efficiency offensively and defensively with his playing mins.

Giannis is clearly the better player on both sides of the ball. Lebron is the better passer but that’s it.

Rebounds
PER

Bron's balling out of his mind, but the only reason I give the edge to Giannis is because he doesn't have Anthony Davis, and Bron does. That one teammate makes a world of difference

It's still close though...and Siakam is balling

Still went something like 34/ 14/ 5. He was clearly the most dominant player on the court, and he was on fire from 3. No one could guard him.

He is the MVP and best defensive player in the league. You’re truly seeing a Wilt / Jordan type of player here. We have never seen this since those players.

No agendas here. Just facts on how fucking good this dude is.

Unanimous MVP....and no one is close.

That means it is objective. I'm going by who the best actually is, and not backing someone because he is my guy or being a stan, by just saying Lebron is MVP.

Right now. Giannis is the MVP.

Now that could very well change later on in the season, due to injury, due to lack of ability, or due to other players excelling and playing better.

Right now, for me, It is Giannis and it is all based on stats, record, and ability.

My rankings:

1.Giannis
2.Harden
3.Lebron
4.AD
5.Luka ( injury has pushed him back and the Mavs still play at a high level without him, and actually pass the ball better. Everyone's stats has increased)

Lebron
Doncic
Harden
Paul

Chris is scoring more points in the closing mins of the 4th than any other player.

MY rankings. YOUR rankings.

There is no case when you have another player on your squad
Who is just as important or even more important. No other MVP
Candidate has that. AD takes votes away as critics have already stated.

That’s why he will never be number 1 in my rankings. AD has dominated games with or without lebron. That just pure facts.

Bron doing what a lot of people didn't think he could do in year 17 during this 5-game stretch without AD -- leading the Lakers to a 4-1 record and getting two big, tough wins on the road vs. Dallas & Houston, at that.

Giannis is just super-human right now and Bucks have a 2-game lead on the Lakers....but Bron is making his case.

Last seven games: 34,34 61,47, 50,36,48. And he is shooting three pointers from greater distances than anyone in the league. Logo threes.

Beat lakers, rockets, pacers. 6-3 last nine games and is creeping on that 8th seed Still missing 2 important players to injuries.

My rankings

1. Giannis
2. Lebron
3 Dame
4.Harden ( dude’s game has fallen, terrible slump, did score 30 the other night though)
5. Doncic ( can’t stay on the court, injured again)

Honorable mention: CP3.

Lakers making a charge to claim the league's best record. The Bucks were on pace for 70 and many rightfully cited that as further evidence of Giannis coasting to the MVP - but given that he's fallen off a bit in terms of his historic efficiency numbers this year - and LeBron closing the gap both in terms of his glittery individual numbers & his big game performances against the league's top competition - the tides are shifting.

According to writers who actually vote on the award, Giannis is still ahead and rightfully so. Giannis has done it all year, from day one, and their 3 game skid is not going to change that, no matter how much people are campaigning it.

Brian Windhorst said it’s still Giannis by a good lead. Even missing a few games wouldn’t change that , and apparently, the bucks appear to not care about the record because Bud sat the starters even while facing a three game losing streak ..which by the way is their longest losing streak of the season. I feel every game is a must win game to maintain homecourt advantage throughout the PO, but I guess the bucks feel differently, and will pull players regardless. I guess it’s fear that other players will get hurt, just makes no sense to me.

Giannis numbers and season speaks for itself . No campaigning. And more than likely he is going to snag defensive player of the year.

It’s great that lebron is still playing at a high level, but he has another superstar carrying the load and taking over games, And AD took over in both second halves of the Bucks and clippers game. That’s another knock and probably the biggest knock against him.

Against the clippers, lebron took zero shots in the third quarter and only played 5 mins, the quarter where they took over. AD went into beast mode that quarter as well as Bradley. That is why Giannis is still ahead and would take some drastic to change that.

And we still got this pandemic going on, so when you look at it from an importance stand point, it makes it sensitive to really go in on it.
