I’d have expected it to be Brighton after the break. I thought we’d either draw this one or squeak out a win. And no, Pukki was playing in a side decimated by injury (though Stiepermann and Cantwell were healthy but played well below their standard), and up against the best defensive pairing this side of van Dijk and Gomez.
