Philly vs Pack.

The packers have a top defense but they are terrible against the run. They are 29th against the run, and Philly is 25th against the pass.

I imagine this is why Philly is getting outgunned in their games, and the pack are not getting outgunned in their games. But with teams able to run against the pack, they can put some points on the board, but not enough to do any damage. The league is a passing league, and if you can't pass, you can't win.

Alshon is back in the lineup, but Djack is still out. Maybe Alshon's presence will boost the passing attack, but against a top ranked passing defense, I'm not sure that is going to happen. We shall se

With my Flex Fantasy I'm going with Rodgers, Adams, Scantling, Sanders( philly ), and Crosby. I expect the pack to be able to pass like crazy, and philly to be able to get the running attacking going, with Sanders getting more touches than Howard.

philly: 17-20 points
Pack : 28 points.

It's hard to win in Lambeau

Here is the thing about the bills/patriots game. Both teams have played nothing but bad teams, so we don't know how good or how bad they really are.

This game will tell us a lot. Bills have one of the top defenses in the league and will be going up against a high powered offense. The patriot's high powered offense will be going up against a top defense.

Will defense win or will Offense win?

Either bills cover, and possibly win the game, or get blown out.

2703745, Falcons will lose again, big time

2703714, mista's pick for gut wrench of the week: colts
Posted by mista k5, Thu Sep-26-19 12:29 PM
they will obviously beat the raiders right? thats why they are my pick in the eliminator challenge and thats why the raiders will keep it closer than they should for longer than they should just to make me sweat.

im excited and nervous for this sunday night game. it will tell us a lot about the cowboys.

even excited for this thursday night game. i want both teams to lose. it would be satisfying to see the eagles get blown out but that means next week will be even tougher for the cowboys. i say bring it on.

im half way rooting for the giants because i drew them in the company challenge. i get 2 points for every win they get. i was expecting to get max 8 points for the year from them. they might actually end up somewhere respectable? i dont know how much barkley being out will hurt them this week. i would assume a lot.
2703719, I wouldn’t be mad at the packers if they chop blocked Barnett all night

Posted by allStah, Thu Sep-26-19 09:06 PM
As predicted, Packers are passing all over the Eagles, and the Eagles are able to run over the Pack.

It's crazy on how the Packers have a great defense, but are total shit against the run. But I'm pissed that Howard is getting all the damn goal line touches, while Sanders does all the work getting to the red zone. Kid is mad versatile, and yall are focking up my fantasy

2703723, RE: 2019 NFL Redzone: Week 4
Posted by allStah, Thu Sep-26-19 09:38 PM
a screen run TD for the howard....I'm pissed. winning money in 1 of my 3 flex fantasy games, could be winning more if the eagles decided to use Sanders. The difference in these games come down such small margins and one player.
2703724, RE: 2019 NFL Redzone: Week 4
Posted by allStah, Thu Sep-26-19 09:55 PM
This is bullshit!

Sanders getting all the big yards with his running, then gets taking out for howard in the red zone.

2703725, RE: 2019 NFL Redzone: Week 4
Posted by allStah, Thu Sep-26-19 10:07 PM
Jimmy Graham TD got me in first in 2 out of the three flex games, and I'm in 7th in the other one. All three are in the money on fan duel....

I just need Jimmy to be used even more on this drive....

but moving forward in fantasy Sanders is the running back from 0 to 80 yards, and Howard is the TD vulture. Damn I would be killing like crazy.

2703749, RE: howard got me 31 points
Posted by allStah, Fri Sep-27-19 03:32 PM
That happened with a lot of people, because the RB roles hadn't really been established yet. Because up until yesterday, it appeared that Sanders was going to be the featured back, with Howard getting some carries.

But now, it is quite obvious, that Howard is going to be the red zone back and to get the so called tough yards. So Sanders might get you 70 yards or even get 100 yards, but he is not going to get you any touchdowns. Lightening/Thunder 2 back system.
2703727, RE: 2019 NFL Redzone: Week 4
Posted by allStah, Thu Sep-26-19 10:42 PM
Eagles secondary is terrible. I see why they are 25th in stopping the pass. They are reckless even in tackling and hitting, knocking out their own man.

Rodgers need smore help. Graham and Adams are great, but if one of them goes down as we just saw with adams, he is screwed. Running game is crap, and facing a team with a great run defense.

Good ass game though.
2703734, Rogers made a bad decision on the last play
Posted by The Real, Fri Sep-27-19 08:37 AM
He rushed it. If he had waiting a little longer, the pick worked and he had a WR wide open in the back of the endzone.

Playing catch up all game long and the Ravens defense didn’t help at all.
He’s about right where he should be.
2703838, well 3 plays for example.
Posted by Reeq, Sun Sep-29-19 05:56 PM
one play...narrowly avoiding a pass rusher...and instead of getting rid of the ball...stepping back up into a dirty pocket looking to make a play downfield and getting sacked.

then the key miscommunication with mark andrews on the out.

followed up by him overreacting on the following possession and forcing the ball to andrews in double coverage for the int.

the fact that you use him playing from behind as an excuse kinda proves my point. that was a winnable game and he had his chances. he isnt yet at the level as other qbs who would have pulled that out (or at least not dug a deeper hole down the stretch).

im not shitting on him. he just isnt what folks rushed to hype him up to be after week 2.

thats not to excuse that d (especially on that late chubbs td run). but jacksons inexperience/limitations stood out too.

none of those things is really a qb being exposed, IMO. We prolly all saw veteran qbs do those things, today. Holding the ball too long, miscommunication with a receiver, trying to force a play...the best do that. Brady threw a pic in the end zone trying to hit a dude damn near triple covered, today. All that said, your point stands. Folk are gassing him early. Talking about he and Mahomes the next great QB rivalry and shit.

lost the eliminator challenge. one less thing to worry about i guess.

did fairly bad at my picks, got 6 right so far.

saints did their thing. hopefully the cowboys learn from it and can bounce back. only positive is that this game gave me some confidence in the defense. granted it was without brees but the pressure they were getting was legit.
