Got to know his personality through various radio shows after he retired. Seemed like an awesome guy with a great sense of humor and stories for days.

Legend. Nothing else to say as a native Kentuckian.

R.I.P.

38 fucking years old?????

Jesus.
2701062, RIP Pillsbury Throwboy!!!

2701068, He got up to over 500lbs at one point?!?!

Man...that is big

It was definitely a sight to see when he was at Kentucky
2701083, At the end of his football career he was pushing 400

Look at the pics when he was playing indoor football, he was massive.

Apparently he lost over 100 pounds after surpassing the 500 mark.

It's wild to me how food addiction does not get more attention. I bet it kills a lot more people than drugs.
2701070, Damned shame.

A really good player, especially given Kentucky hadn't had any real success for a while before he played there.

Seemed like a real good dude from the glimpse into him his press coverage gave. Sad to see good people leave Earth before they or we are ready.

I pray that his family and friends give themselves space to fully grieve this loss and miss him and that they receive support from others and their communities.

RIP
2701082, RIP to the Pillsbury Throwboy, the Hefty Lefty, da gawd.

I loved watching this guy with the Wildcats and was thrilled for him to get a Super Bowl ring.

First Tractor Traylor, now this. Somebody better check on Sean May.

It's super sad to hear he was struggling with so many health problems so young, too, sounds like the past few years have been filled with medical visits and scares. Damn, only 38.

2701100, So sad
