People have a personal experience with something, see similar traits in someone else, and think they have enough information to leap to a diagnosis.

Parents, in particular, are prone to this.

I've seen people in various teaching and mental health professions make similar observations about others, but this a huge problem.

The devil's in the details, and often enough, there is information they do not, and cannot possibly, have to make that determination.

Sheesh is right..I never said it's a defect (nor do I consider it to be that). And it has nothing to do with how little he talks. Quest can talk anyone's ear off, and from reading his book it seems like he's somewhere on there too. I'm talking more about how he processes things. He's kind of a savant when it comes to his sport (just like Messi is with his, and he's widely rumored to be on the spectrum--again it's not a defect).

Wow. I get why he and Pop fell out now. Pop uses those dinners as his biggest team building thing, and you've got Kawhi sitting there with a damn cello bag of apples.

I am so thankful I got to watch him play at SDSU and am genuinely happy for him. It’s been great watching him grow and expand his game, especially offensively from SDSU to San Antonio to Toronto. This success is hard earned, couldn’t have happened to a better guy.
