Lillard is a career 40% shooter in the postseason. For comparison, Lowry is a 41% shooter. The man has been a dud outside of the '14 series vs. Rockets & the 1st round against OKC this postseason. He's basically living off two series as far as his postseason career is concerned. If it wasn't for 6'3" CJ going off, they wouldn't even have gotten past the 2nd rd.
As far as the size issue, Nash/CP-Plea actually put up better scoring numbers (while maintaining their efficiency) in the postseason than the regular season.
Historically, Kevin Johnson (pre-injury) is probably the best comp for Lillard as far as how they were both ranked in relative to their peer during their primes as fringe MVP candidates & perennial 2nd team All-NBA guards. KJ outplayed Stockton/Magic during a single postseason & almost led the Suns to the '90 Finals before he got injured in Gm 6 of the WCF. Lillard meanwhile has constantly been clubbed like a baby seal by CP-Plea/Curry throughout his career.
