Most likely would be a 1+1 that gives him the freedom to bounce if it falls apart or stay through the "window" where they aren't strapped for talent. Lowry has two more years, I think. They could bring Gasol back on a short deal. Makes sense to have that narrow window deal and flexibility. It also works financially for Kawhi because in two years he'll be eligible for the big supermax deal
