Overall, it'll be next to impossible to know if the Knicks screwed up this trade in terms of what they got in return because there will never be any transparency in terms of why the Knicks had to move him so quickly and what other offers the Knicks had on the table. It still bothers me that the Knicks didn't trade him in the off-season to field more offers and it appeared the trade occurred very quickly, but it is what it is at this point.
