Contract year. Don't let them make the playoffs...he showing out this year.
2679518, if we can get him some help
Posted by fontgangsta, Tue Nov-20-18 09:35 AM
we'll get to the conference series
the hive is licking their chops over Beal right now
that might do it
2679520, what would you realistically be ok parting with...
Posted by Dstl1, Tue Nov-20-18 09:44 AM
to get him?
2679523, honestly?
Posted by fontgangsta, Tue Nov-20-18 10:08 AM
Bridges is the only guy that's off the table - hes the future.

I love a lot of guys that play for us despite their inconsistencies - Lamb, MKG, Bacon, Monk, Cody, Biz, Hernangomez - but they are all on the table because we're going to straight up kill Kemba if we continue to lean on him this hard, and as good as he is he can only single-handedly beat so many teams. I'm dying to get him a solid #2.

Marvin, Batum and Frank are dead weight, id be pleased to see them go, but Batum is maybe the most overpaid guy in the league, so we're prob stuck w him.

anyway - short answer - anyone but Miles.
2679524, Wtf were they thinking with the Batum contract
Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Nov-20-18 10:12 AM
Dude is trash.

Bridges needs to be in the dunk contest this year.
2679527, i dont know but he should be embarrassed to cash that check every month
Posted by fontgangsta, Tue Nov-20-18 10:16 AM
motherfucker can't even inbound the ball without fucking up
I'm gonna blame Cho for that one
But if we're stuck with him I really wish he would come off the bench. No reason whatsoever for him to be starting anymore, and maybe he can do some good for the younger guys in the second unit.
2679533, European three and D guy. Looked the part.

2679531, kid is fearless...
Posted by Dstl1, Tue Nov-20-18 10:36 AM
and I don't say that jokingly. No situation is too big. He's an absolute blur with or without the ball. He will dunk on your moms, if she's caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. He's getting better and better at losing his man, retreating to the corner and popping the 3 ball, too. His defense is shaky at times, but he's wild young and he's got the physique to not get bodied. Considering Sam got this kid from MJ for Black Panther on Blu-Ray and a year subscription to Playstation Plus...BIG WIN.
2679548, 6 years later? really? kemba a 30 year-old footnote on a run

2708028, Lakers get an ugly win against the Pelicans...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Thu Nov-28-19 12:35 AM
..horrible on the offensive boards for most of the game, sloppy play early.

Still managed to lock in and shut things down with defense down the stretch.

A quiet 41 & 9 for Davis.

*allStah still thinks the Lakers were crazy to give up Ingram.

LMAO!

*skatin' the rings of saturn*

..and miles to go before i sleep...
2708032, RE: Lakers get an ugly win against the Pelicans...

Dude Ingram didn’t even shoot we’ll and went 23 points 12REBOUNDS, 2 steals, and was aggressive to get to the line.

The laker are weak as shit, which is why y’all can’t beat the raptors, clippers or any other top team.

Memphis, okc, pelicans, Dallas, y’all needed the last second to win those games. I’m telling you look at your squad. You don’t have any dogs or enforcers so your squad gets out muscled. Go back and look at that Memphis game.

You got big men but none of them are dogs, maybe Howard, but he ain’t smart enough. Hart, Ingram, holiday were all killing the boards.

The eastern conference is not bullshitting this year. Those teams are ready punch cats in the mouth.
2708035, LOL
Posted by Vex_id, Thu Nov-28-19 01:27 AM
Pels hit *17* threes tonight - they were on fire from the arc - and it was playoff like atmosphere for them. Lakers were on the last leg of a 4-game road trip - 3rd game in like 5 days - and they were gassed. This was a scheduled loss - yet they still pulled it out w/ elite composure.

You're right tho - that 16-2 team is weak AF! MVP Ingram waaaay better than AD!

2708039, RE: LOL
Posted by allStah, Thu Nov-28-19 09:29 AM
Yeah a 16-2 team that has yet to beat a contender when they play them. Most of Those wins are against weak teams. It’s like the patriots this year before they played the Ravens. Undefeated but haven’t played anyone, but when they did, they got punched in the mouth.

Playoff like atmosphere? The past week or so , the lakers have played memphis, okc, pelicans, and all those teams out muscled your squad and you needed the last second to win. They were too young to close, but they were by far the better team. Those teams exploit the weaknesses of the lakers: bigs are slow when having to defending out the paint, and and just overall speed in general. So when they play contenders it’s even worse.

You keep talking about 16-2. There is no championship for the regular season.

Pay attention to what your team does against contenders ...and so far they got their asses handed to them.....by the clippers with no PG and by the raptors with no Lowry.

Y’all dont face a real team until later on in December: Milwaukee and Indiana. Those games will tell you what type of team you have.
2708041, “they were by far the better team”.....LMAO!!!
Posted by DJR, Thu Nov-28-19 09:54 AM
2708082, as an OKC fan who’s watched EVERY game...
Posted by Dstl1, Fri Nov-29-19 01:38 PM
we are in no way a better team than the Lakers. Our best player is barely able to drink, our most experienced player is a shell of himself, we’re streaky as fuck from 3 and don’t know how to keep leads or close games, yet.
2708040, it’s hilarious that you talk shit after losing
Posted by DJR, Thu Nov-28-19 09:35 AM
Yeah, “so and so was up 9 in the second quarter, they were KILLING them! Lakers suck!”

Lmao. 16-2.
2708076, “advanced stats” heads will point out that AD had a -6 +/- despite...
Posted by ThaTruth, Fri Nov-29-19 10:49 AM
having 41pts on 50% shooting
2708029, Fair. still ain't Summer 16. he'll always just be a rudy ringless goomba
Posted by Basaglia, Thu Nov-28-19 12:39 AM

they better do some shit this year. gonna need a LOT of injuries around the league, but they're a contender.

god help the internet they lose in the second round tho...
2708075, Kemba puts up buckets. Kyrie puts up IG rants crying how ppl are mean
