If we can handle our division, the naysayers will be forced to rethink our season.

That being said, Trubisky has been very shaky when defenses key on his tendencies, and he needs a lot of help to get out of that sunken place mid-game. It really throws us off schedule and lets defenses tee off. Vikings are the best defense he will see all year possibly.

On the other hand, if the lions game was not an aberration, this could be a crowning achievement of a new prince in the north.

Gonna be tough sledding against this vikings team.

1st half is done and Lamar is proving my point: he ain’t ready to run an NFL squad RIGHT NOW.

If we can afford to let him sit and grow for another year or two, I’d be completely fine with him developing that way instead of heaping a ton of unrealistic expectations on him right now or too soon.

Edit: Lamar could play decently today, regardless of a win or a loss, and I’d still say he ain’t ready right now.

Eli tied his best completion record (or did he pass it?) Telling you you give this man some protection and a run game and he still can win games

Not sure what this defense's problem was with giving up really dumb, big plays. But it hasn't been our problem historically. Maybe it's the Jameis factor so I'll just lick off my W fingers and not ask questions.

Can move the ball really well and occasionally even make plays by himself...in 1pm games against lesser competition

When you really need him in a big game, he just can’t do it. Plays his most conservative ball and turns it over.

Finishing drives has been a problem for him

how they prospered with what they've had at QB these last couple seasons...

Not good enough to win with sub par talent.

But with a good OL, decent weapons and coaching he can be very effective.

His RZ numbers are trash, but RZ is where HOFers are separated from mediocre.

He makes too much money but so do 90% of QBs.

I swear some folks don’t watch the games, just the stat sheets.

Always felt like Cousins was an Alex Smith type QB. Above average but when you really need a play? He ain’t that dude.

Alex Smith's problem until 2 years ago was an unwillingness to go downfield or take risks. (And this season he was right back to his old ways)

Cousins is kind of the opposite.

Combine them and you'd have a great QB

They're the most balanced team I've seen this season

got a notification that it was at over 90 points a 3 point game. one of the few moments i wish i had cable lol

nfc east is falling into the cowboys lap. should be interesting to see how they give it away.

a win is a win but that was not very impressive.

..that says it all.

i'm actually impressed that such a high scoring game actually included some incredible defensive plays.

That was a once in a lifetime game..
