Perfect QB for a mediocre franchise to stay competitive and keep fans coming but won’t ever win jack shit.

The difference between Stanford and, say, Wentz or Goff is really just environment. You put Stafford on that Vikings team with Zimmer and talent everywhere it’s a different story. But it’s Detroit.

there have never been 11 QBs in the NFL better than Stafford in any year starting from 2011 on. and he had individual seasons that were easily top 5 for that year.

the magnitude and quantity of the comebacks suggests he dragged them to success kicking and screaming, given:

A)the history of the organization.

B)the HOF qbs around him on the career 4QC (7th) and GWD (8th) leaderboards. Brady, Brees, Manning, Unitas, Elway, Marino...no one lands on a list like that by accident.

he was way more than what the franchise deserved, and an absolute home run of #1 overall QB . its not his fault that the QB the fans deserve doesnt actually exist, or that the front office, and thus the coaches' room, was an endles churn of morons.

but I don't think y'all have been watching seasons of the Stafford experience like we have.
