We haven’t even been GOOD and we made a final four and a sweet 16 in the last 3 years. Defense and Boeheim knowing how to pull out games go a long way. Scholarships are back. Talent level is coming back. This year’s team will be good.

Grant is solid. Dion was coming in strong in Miami before getting hurt. Cuse has put a lot kids in the pros after a year or two who weren’t even on the NBA radar before coming out of nowhere(Grant a primary example). They aren’t getting kids who would be straight out of HS if the rules allowed it and pumping up how they “develop pros”. They’re getting top 50-100 recruits and getting them to the pros, probably more consistently than anyone out there that recruits at that level.

Honestly Jalen Carey might be better than him anyway. And he’s not even starting. Cuse will be good this year. Could’ve used Quade last year, but sanctions are done and the numbers and depth are back.
