I don't know why people want to hate on Lonzo so bad.

He came in getting triple-doubles last year so we know he can play. The one big knock was his shooting which he seems to have improved and his defense is better.

His overall numbers are down because he trying to learn how to play off the ball more being on the floor with Lebron and Rondo but overall he's been fine.

That Lonzo is neither the type of uber-talent he was marketed as in college, nor is he some obvious detriment to his team.

He's not the solution to the Lakers' problems, and he's not the cause of them.

He's got clear upside that makes him worth developing, but he also doesn't seem like the next Jason Kidd like the media/some fans paint him to be.

Maybe he never provides #2 overall pick value, but I think he provides obvious value in general.
