2676182, CFB Saturday: Midseason Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-20-18 01:35 PM
we're in week eight of college football. which is sad, because we only have seven weeks left before the bowls.

2676183, Northwestern losing to Rutgers Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-20-18 01:38 PM
same Rutgers team that lost by an average of 31 points to Buffalo, Illinois and Kansas
|
2676186, and the same NW team that beat msu Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-20-18 02:41 PM
and led mich 17-0
have fun trying to bet the big 10 on a weekly basis. there's just rhyme or reason this year.

2676184, Michigan doing what they do best: suffocate a mediocre offense Posted by will_5198, Sat Oct-20-18 01:39 PM
Michigan State looks like the freshmen B team scrimmaging against varsity
it's only 7-0 as of now though, so set up for some Sparty fuckery later

I'm good with a respectable, close loss.
I do think we can beat one of MSU/wisky/Iowa to be bowl eligible
|
2676224, Thorough ass whooping. Congrats homie.. I'm happy for that Tyler kid too, Posted by guru0509, Sat Oct-20-18 09:45 PM

|
2676197, Haskins needs another year Posted by guru0509, Sat Oct-20-18 07:45 PM
Rondale Moore is the best player on the field, by far
It's alarming how pathetic the run game is, this offensive line has alot of growing up to do in regards to run blocking ..
|
2676198, theyre just not a very good team right now Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-20-18 07:52 PM
watching an osu team that can't run the ball is a little bit out of the twilight zone.
LB and OL coach gotta go pronto.
|
2676203, Bosa and the attention he drew masked so many defensive short comings Posted by guru0509, Sat Oct-20-18 08:31 PM
These safeties are so lost smh
>watching an osu team that can't run the ball is a little bit >out of the twilight zone. > >LB and OL coach gotta go pronto.
|
2676200, going to be Wazzou vs USC in the P12 chip Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Oct-20-18 08:00 PM
which is going to be a phenomenal rematch like the first game
|
2676202, Moore reminds me of Bush Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Oct-20-18 08:16 PM
he gets separation from defenders *very* easily
|
2676205, Tommy Devito is legit.....kid can sling it Posted by DJR, Sat Oct-20-18 08:35 PM
|
2676228, Nick Holt is God. The evolution of this defense in season Posted by calminvasion, Sat Oct-20-18 09:59 PM
Just crazy, they were so trash the first three weeks. So young
|
2676231, Rondale Moore, my God, what an absolute best Posted by calminvasion, Sat Oct-20-18 10:16 PM
|
2676232, Perfect ending: the Columbus kid piles it on! Posted by calminvasion, Sat Oct-20-18 10:17 PM
|
2676236, OSU, lmao Posted by KiloMcG, Sat Oct-20-18 10:22 PM
*edit* but rushing the field is lame. I knew they were gonna do it, though. Smh.
|
2676241, pretty good day imo Posted by brown sugar, Sat Oct-20-18 10:28 PM
|
2676251, still gonna lose The Game though....nm Posted by guru0509, Sat Oct-20-18 10:59 PM
|
2676309, you know, i think they might just do it this year Posted by bshelly, Sun Oct-21-18 10:24 AM
i don't like how one dimensional your offense is. michigan's defense is too good to try to do one thing on them all day long. of course, your dline has won plenty of games by itself, but the mobile qb and the read options should help. either way, it's gonna be another classic.
|
2676333, Anything is possible, in a rivalry game but I gotta talk my shit Posted by guru0509, Sun Oct-21-18 01:11 PM

Agree with everything you said except michigan's defense, what they did to an already putrid sparty offense, in wind rain hail and hell conditions doesn't impress me
Haskins is a fucking statue though...he has no wiggle or ability to scare ppl w his legs
Definitely gonna be a battle.
|
2676375, OSU will lose several more games w/o drastic improvement/changes Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Oct-21-18 03:43 PM
I just don't think it's possible to make the necessary adjustments at this point in the season
|
2676242, carbon copy of the Iowa game Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Oct-20-18 10:28 PM
bye week might help but prob not
|
2676338, can hardly remember a playoff team/contender Posted by will_5198, Sun Oct-21-18 01:42 PM
getting blown out as bad as Ohio State has the last two seasons
sure, "contenders" get exposed every year
but weird to see an actual playoff team -- and they still may end up in the playoffs this year -- get rolled like that
|
2676368, God I hope not.... Posted by guru0509, Sun Oct-21-18 03:20 PM
>and they still may >end up in the playoffs this year -- get rolled like that

|
2676342, college football drama can't be beat Posted by will_5198, Sun Oct-21-18 01:48 PM
it's not always well played, but unlike other sports it's way more entertaining when it's not fundamentally sound
|
2676299, Sportswriters are lazy Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sun Oct-21-18 09:48 AM
LSU has had a good season so far, with just the road loss to Florida and a Top 10 win over UGA. What they don't have though is Top 10 wins over Miami and Auburn. Both of these teams are unranked now so they are decent or solid wins over unranked teams. Mississippi State will be unranked today. I don't understand why every sports media guy parrots the line about "3 Top 10 wins" when it is untrue. Those rankings early were based on a foundation of nothing too, last year's results. Nobody learns from Florida State-Alabama last year? It's incredibly lazy and dishonest.
|
2676307, this is what 3X was telling me last yr Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Oct-21-18 10:15 AM
as i blindly paraded "ranked wins".
|
2676372, rankings aren't even in my stream of consciousness anymore Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Oct-21-18 03:35 PM
I used to have those rankings memorized on a weekly basis now i really have no idea where anyone is ranked besides bama, of course.
i guess the playoff system really made the rankings obsolete

2676336, Butch Jones whooping it up with a Gatorade bath and cigar Posted by will_5198, Sun Oct-21-18 01:37 PM
hilarious. he's a 50-year-old grad assistant (no really, that's his title at Alabama) and is celebrating the defeat of a program he torched to the ground and laughing at the kids he recruited.
fuck that piece of shit for life.
|
2676340, Lots of these coaches are some meathead manchildren Posted by DJR, Sun Oct-21-18 01:44 PM
It’s amazing, in a bad way.
|
2676344, most coaches have some sort of vertebrae, though Posted by will_5198, Sun Oct-21-18 01:53 PM
untruthful, arrogant and prideful to the detriment of themselves and others...sure
but Jones is a special kind of low-laying specimen
|
2676348, maybe he will go into politics next? Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sun Oct-21-18 02:26 PM
sounds like the sort of bottom feeder that thrives in that sort of setting
|
2676350, I mean...there’s no way Bama beats Tenn. without Butch!! Posted by DJR, Sun Oct-21-18 02:35 PM
How do you even bring yourself to do that and not feel incredibly awkward?
|
2676382, and he still probably on UT books for the buyout Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sun Oct-21-18 04:18 PM
i'd be cackling it up too
|
2676385, $2.4 million Posted by will_5198, Sun Oct-21-18 04:28 PM
as usual though, Butch doesn't realize he is part of the joke himself
Bama players laughing that they wanted Butch to finally smoke a victory cigar is a troll to UT *and* Butch...
