Shaq wins no rings without Kobe dominating and carrying them in some cases. I'm talking more so about the things the player could do on their own which speaks even more to passion and a desire to dominate, on an individual level, in ways other than scoring. At Shaq's size, one could reasonably expect his dominance to be inclusive of owning the paint. He didn't. That's why, he's always been sort of overrated in my book.

And to add, I'm a Lakers fan who does his best to be as objective as possible. All the other subjective stuff like him just being a complete ass irks me ways that I try not to have influence my discussions on his talent and accomplishments.
