- Stanton is on pace to strike out 300 times this year and is already getting booed.

- Shohei Ohtani > Babe Ruth.

- Houston looks even better than last year because of their starting pitching. second in the AL in team ERA and the entire staff is striking out 10 batters per nine innings.

- Tampa Bay should be dissolved. off to a roaring 1-8 start; they cannot hit (team OPS of .519) nor pitch (team ERA of 4.92)
2649872, Merge them with the Marlins, make a Florida super team

Healthy line-up would look something like:

1. Denard Span* - LF
2. Steven Souza - RF
3. Starlin Castro - 2B
4. Logan Morrison* - 1B
5. JT Realmuto - C
6. Kevin Kiermaier* - CF
7. Brian Anderson - 3B
8. Adeiny Hechavarria - SS

Bench

Wilson Ramos - C
Jason Bour* - 1B
Brad Miller* - IF/OF
Martin Prado - IF/OF
Cameron Maybin - OF

Rotation

Chris Archer - SP
Blake Snell* - SP
Alex Cobb - SP
Jacob Faria - SP
Wei-Yin Chen* - SP

Bullpen

Alex Colome - RP
Drew Steckenrider - RP
Andrew Kittredge - RP
Dan Jennings* - RP
Kyle Barraclough - RP
Brad Ziegler - RP

A healthy version of that team would be projected to win 79-80 games based on ZiPS

Can we do this with the O's and Nationals. As an O's fan this is the only way we get Angelos out of owning the team.

the mundane spectacle of observing every micro-action in a sports game is growing worse by the day.

perfection does not exist. let's just have robots play the games as well, that way we don't have to see any human errors too.
