This version of Ohtani in his early 20s "looks" a lot more athletic than the current one because of how big he is now. Maybe its the bulkiness makes him look less athletic?

But I dunno....

His sprint speed and HB to 1st numbers still put him within top 10-15% of players

and less about the raw athleticism #'s but a big part of that is being able to put it altogether in performance
