2628131, Dat Lat Posted by 40thStreetBlack, Tue Oct-31-17 12:41 PM
Hope y'all had fun getting your little goofy euro digs in while you could.
He a star.

2628133, he's so good and he keeps getting better every year. Posted by Cenario, Tue Oct-31-17 01:17 PM
he's looking to score on whoever is guarding him every time.
He can score in the half court set and he runs the floor beautifully.
And he's staying out of foul trouble.

2628140, Like Clyde said late in last night's game Posted by Numba_33, Tue Oct-31-17 02:36 PM
I hope the dude can keep this up. I'm mainly interested is seeing how the young core for the Knicks play this season; Porzingis has been playing stellar on the offensive end and I think he's been getting double doubles for the most part while going on this scoring tear; I don't believe he got one last night.
To keep this post positive, I won't mention my thoughts on the remainder of the younger players for the Knicks. The season is still young, so hopefully the other younger players will improve and get more minutes to shine.

2628286, RE: Dat Lat Posted by Organ, Wed Nov-01-17 11:19 AM
That slow/calculated turn around he been doing from the high post is almost unstoppable. His shot can't be altered.
|
2628309, It is really good to see Posted by ThaAnthology, Wed Nov-01-17 01:40 PM
fundamentals, not getting rattled by physical play, taking the initiative, leading by example on offense and defense. I am really pleased so far.
|
2628488, i wanna see him pass out of these double team more. Posted by Cenario, Thu Nov-02-17 03:27 PM
and get the ball below 15 feet instead of above. He's backing dudes in and then shooting from 15 bc he's starting at 20.
itll come tho.
they should hire dirk as an assistant coach when season is over. get rambuss outta there.

2629039, Catch me up, is Myles Turner still better? n/m Posted by Jayson Willyams, Mon Nov-06-17 10:36 AM

2629095, not according to any fair accouting and observation. Posted by Basaglia, Mon Nov-06-17 01:13 PM
|
2629059, From what I've seen so far Posted by Numba_33, Mon Nov-06-17 11:28 AM
a key factor in helping Porzingis score in bunches so far is that both Enes Kanter and Kyle O'Quinn are doing their part defensively as big men to help free Porzingis up from expending energy on that side of the court, especially on the rebounding end.
Not to take anything away from what Porzingis is doing, because I definately didn't see him scoring this much out the gate, but those two deserve their props in terms of helping Porginzis in the front court, especially Kyle O'Quinn.
|
2629097, Kanter has been a beast. Other bigs can't cheat off of him the way they Posted by Cenario, Mon Nov-06-17 01:21 PM
were doing against noah. That's been huge.
He's been much better defensively than i expected. He's 1000x better on offense and defense than Noah was last year. Porzingis has gotten better on defense too...him and kanter are so looong. Porzingis been staying out of foul trouble too.
|
2629297, This is truth...but he is scoring from all over the court. Posted by Castro, Tue Nov-07-17 02:21 PM
And he is rim protector on the defensive side. So it isn't like he is taking any plays off.
|
2629386, Porzingis so good I forgive feel. Posted by Cenario, Wed Nov-08-17 12:10 AM
|
2629396, RE: Porzingis so good I forgive feel. Posted by Castro, Wed Nov-08-17 06:29 AM
Naw.Never.A thief is a thief and Phil stole money.
|
2629398, I don't care. If phil missing on every other move is the price Posted by Cenario, Wed Nov-08-17 07:13 AM
To pay for Porzingis, I'd sign up again.
|
2629425, Naw, PJ gonna spin this like his stint in NY was good Posted by Castro, Wed Nov-08-17 10:20 AM
and that the bad outcomes were everyone else's fault and not his meddling.
We can love the pick, we can love the player, and still deem PJ a failure. This is not binary.
PJ is a frontrunner, and was given endless amounts of dough and leeway to do his thing, and he actively fucked up his way out of contract, and was willing to TRADE the one good move he made just to insure that he would be able to get out of town. Fuck Him.
|
2629429, i'm not disagreeing with any of that. Phil was a failure. Posted by Cenario, Wed Nov-08-17 10:35 AM
I never said otherwise.
But id take all those failures and zingis than feel not coming here and whoever drafted some damn WinsLow
