2619306, Saban punishes starting DT for DUI by letting him play FSU in opener

Saban continues to build men of character. if you're an important defensive starter, you can get multiple DUIs (Geno Smith a few years ago) and not miss a game. context matters (c) Saban.
2619308, There are more than 25 teams better than Texas.

2619309, once you get past 11, you just start thinking of schools that exist

2619315, there are some excellent games week 1
Posted by HecticHavoc, Fri Aug-04-17 01:47 AM
I'm most interested in aTm vs Yookla. That game will have a lot of pressure on the coach who loses and both have tough schedules after

wonder how Western Michigan will do in south central

Also wonder if Louisville puts up 100 on Purdue

Michigan Florida in Jerryworld for a bowl game rematch from a few years ago. Looking forward to this a lot

Looking forward to seeing the temple they built for Julio Jones. How good will Bama be without the legendary services of Lane? Bubble screen bubble screen bubble screen dive.

2619317, been waiting for years now for GT-TENN on Monday night
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Aug-04-17 06:19 AM
thats the biggest nonconference game since PJ has been in ATL

WMU is gonna get rolled week 1 but I like their new coach. theyll be fine over tye long haul

Michigan's gonna smoke Florida
2619329, cfb opening weekend is always pretty special

4 consecutive days worth of legit matchups. labor day cookouts and parties? NOPE!

>wonder how Western Michigan will do in south central

uhh, they'll lose but probably not by quite as much as they should. both sc and stan have exhibition games before they face off in week 2.

>Michigan Florida in Jerryworld for a bowl game rematch from a
>few years ago. Looking forward to this a lot

looking forward to it as well but take away the names on the helmets and the overrated attention whore on mich's sidelines and this is probably a total snooze fest. a fg wins this one.

>Looking forward to seeing the temple they built for Julio
>Jones. How good will Bama be without the legendary services of
>Lane?

maybe they'll just hand the fucking ball to their rb this year?
2619331, Gameday in bloomington for opening night!

homecoming for Kevin Wilson (this hasn't been much discussed relative to how enormous this hire was)...

gotta think he'll take every opportunity to make indiana pay. but indiana has recently given OSU fits so we'll see...
2619345, the reason for the fits is on your sideline now. 50 point blowout.
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Aug-04-17 10:04 AM
2619388, true. i can't recall whether our struggles with indiana
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Aug-04-17 02:38 PM
predated wilson or not.
2619335, I normally hate "(SPORT) is better when (TEAM) is good"

But college football is legitimately more entertaining when Miami is good. Their division is open this year, so it's possible they could break out. But we'll see.
2619336, LOL miami never breaking through man
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Fri Aug-04-17 09:31 AM
they've had multiple opportunities and cant do it.

the admin dont want to be great anymore either.
2619456, They got Richt, that will help

2619408, They need to repeal and replace the preseason polls
Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Fri Aug-04-17 05:00 PM
I'd even settle for skinny repeal.

Shit is rigged and unfair
2620209, its bullshit... shouldn't be a poll until the 3rd or 4th game

2620179, it's not CFB season until a Gator gets suspended for the opener
Posted by will_5198, Mon Aug-14-17 09:04 PM
Antonio Callaway on the sidelines now against Michigan. nice break for the Wolverines, as Callaway is a guy that can get behind coverage and cause trouble on special teams (although he makes as many dumb plays returning as good ones).

seriously though, Florida has suspended a receiver for three straight season openers.
