England have young talent in droves (as attested by their Toulon/WC U20 win combo), but they're gonna go nowhere fast with the way this league is managed. From living there and still talking to some English buddies my suspicion is that they don't care that much, and might even secretly enjoy moaning about their national team, then move right back to obsessing about their respective clubs once the 3 Lions get knocked out. As nice a guy as Southgate seems, the EPL is too much of a juggernaut these days for him to have all the best cards in hand.

Anyway, GL to young Kelechi, he seems to have the skills. Too bad he couldn't get more opportunities at City, kinda reminds me of how PSG treated JK Augustin
