I was thinking his approach may have burned some bridges w the shoe companies...but then I realized they are only about one thing: revenue. If Lonzo does well and there is interest in the shoe, the companies will come back regardless.

Like you said, as it stands, he's just getting free press and publicity....and he's betting Lonzo's play will make up for the rest.
