holtby had some bad games but he also had some good ones, probably enough good ones for them to win. seems obvious but you're not going to win with zero goals and they scored two in their other losses. how are you staring down ron hainsey, ian cole and all the other schlubs like 'well, we dunno what do to?'

The stars were not consistent and the supporting guys provided essentially nothing. In the losses they made just enough mistakes to wipe out what they did well and anything the Penguins did right was almost gravy.

I liked Backstrom's analysis of when they lost the series. Does it matter? Is there a distinction? They fucked up early and still managed to get to a decent position, only to fuck up again.

It was frustrating to watch. At least the Ducks got their shit together. Nice win.
