2606215, Ducks game was pretty much a coin flip

Lots of things came down to earth, the goalies in your series and the Ducks play (first regulation loss since March 10). It coulda gone either way, lots of hit posts, streaky goaltending for both teams, etc. The bounces finally went against Anaheim which was due the way they lucked out at times in the Calgary series. The first Larsson goal was a mistake and a good play, the second was a mistake and lucky play. Edmonton giving up two goals in 2:44 to lose a lead hurt but like in the SJ series they bounced back. This is going to be a solid series. Watching McDavid in the playoffs show me he has room to improve, which is scary. He isn't physically mature and they have to dink around a lot to keep him from taking faceoffs. He is still creating all sorts of space for other guys and getting OK production. Teams have to start keying on him while he is still in his D zone, not sure I can think of another player like that.

On one hand the Ducks PK is dragging ass. Two more PPG against last night. On the other they have had some fluky ones. A broken stick on a 5on3 last night, the failed clear in Game 1 against Calgary, etc. It's a small sample size but they need to be better or, better still, stay out of the box. Their 5on5 play was real solid.
