I don't mean it in a condescending way, but I feel like this is one of the last playoff matchups left that the NHL can really try to hype and that people still talk about Sid vs Ovi like it's Magic vs Bird, but do fans still see it that way?

Obviously pens fans respect Ovi for being great, but at this point 2 cups in for Sid including going through the Caps to get it last year it feels more like the pressure is about winning because that's just what Pens fans expect, than the pressure of beating a big rival.

I know people hate Crosby outside of the city, but is this still like a big rivalry to prove who the best player is for the team and fans? Like if the Caps win this do they feel they struck a major rivlary win or at this point is it just we need a cup and nothing matters territory?
