It was two different shows. Preshow up to raw tag team ladder match was borderline excellent. Skip the promos, watch the matches.

After that, it was mostly shaky stuff that I felt like I was struggling to get through. Brock vs Goldy was probably the best match you saw. They sped through it which makes that HHH/Rollins match even worse.

To make it worse for me, Pitbull came out when I really needed to see something good again. It basically turned my wrestling nerd brain off for the rest of the night. I might need to watch the 2nd half again and skip the promos and Pitbull.

Taker is to the point where he can't be carried by most of the guys they're gonna put him with. I love the dude's 2nd half of a career. He had some boss ass matches, but now he's physically depleted and it's best that he rolls out. And rolling out on your back is wrestling done right, so Reigns winning via damn near having to kill him was the right call.

BUT

Reigns needs to soak in the boos and more officially accept his heel standing at Raw. And WWE needs to get in on it too instead of winking about it. Then we could have some fun. He could be the best kind of heel..the one who thinks he's right and the crowd is wrong. But of course, he'd occasionally take it too far. The Bret Hart 97.
