The entire reason the tape got out finally is due to the civil suit. The victim/plaintiff wanted the video suppressed. Not victim blaming, but you don't punch a growling tiger a few times and then get sympathy when it mauls you. He's got issues and he overreacted, but he was less than 24 hours from formerly being, legally, a child. As such, a child shouldn't be out that late in a college town.
