1. Props to Cousins for doing this. It's a damn shame that more of the media isn't covering this. As much shit as he gets (some self-inflicted), his agent should work like hell to get him out of Sac-Town.

2. Does this after the Olympics...wondering who influenced him

DeMarcus Cousins is sponsoring a panel discussion with police and community members in his hometown of Mobile, Ala.

The Kings center and recent Olympic gold medalist will return home Sept. 3 with an eye toward the community, helping hold a discussion labeled “Break the Silence, Build the Trust.”

The discussion is free to attend will involve members of the Mobile police department and other community figures, to “center on strengthening relations” between law enforcement and locals.

Carmelo Anthony, Cousins’s teammate, made the most of his Team USA platform this summer, speaking up for social justice and helping to organize a panel discussion in Los Angeles while the American team trained for the Olympics there. Cousins is following suit.

2562786, Boogie always kinda reminded me of Rasheed Wallace in a sense...

that despite his "crazy" antics on the court that he seemed to be pretty intelligent off the court.
2562790, Same here. Both are pretty emotional, thoughtful, & intelligent..

but HATE to feel like they're being wronged, cheated, or slighted.

Like they think they're always right.
2562792, i hadd no idea, only see one side presented

i totally get that hate to feel wronged/slighted vibe tho lol
2562793, John is that way too, that's why he's always talking about...

accolades and other people's money and never lets anything go.

And nobody is ever gonna care. You can only control your own actions. So win games.

doesn't get derailed by some Kentucky Blue Grass Hash Tag Nation Daisy Chain psycho-analysis nonsense, uhh?
2562859, Yeah, I did kinda derail this. My bad guys.

2562853, i feel like it's a bigger issue for Wall, as a point guard he's expected...
Posted by ThaTruth, Fri Sep-02-16 03:23 PM
be a leader and keep the other guys on his team focused but he can't do that if he can't control his own emotions.
2562854, See, I think it affects Boogie on the court more than Wall.
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Fri Sep-02-16 03:46 PM
You can rarely tell from the way Wall plays. Boogie lets it get him out of his game.
2562891, Bullshit.

Wall be moody as fuck on the court. You can tell by his shot selection which guy you're gonna get that night. Wall take them step back jumpers that he rarely makes, its usually a long ass night. Wall be disappearing in games just as bad as Boogie gets distracted.
2562887, Dude is more like pre-reformed Z-Bo
